Wasted over 9 years working here. First started working at A.W.C. in 99. It's been the lowest paying place out at the airport district since it's inception. They have always bragged about how they are the second largest employer in Kingman yet over half are on some sort of assistance. Favoritism and toxicity have always plagued this place. The place will never change due to stagnant top leaders such as Colleen and Robert Batty. Colleen has said that people there complained that she is unapproachable and maybe that's because people can sniff out fakes. Bullying and harassment is commonplace because nothing is ever done about it. The pay has decent top outs that will take you a decade to obtain and is a scam. Steer clear of this predatory sweatshop and go elsewhere. It is joke and always has been and always will be.. don't say you haven't been warned. Good luck. You'll need it.

I agree with the other reviews - stay away, the customer service is beyond horrible. I spent two weeks trying to get some replacement cabinet paneling and nobody at American Woodmark seemed interested in selling it to me. Even with multiple people from Home Depot trying (with repeated phone calls and emails) to help me get the paneling, the sales representative (Ryan Auner) was non-responsive. Attempting to reach the rep through the call center was equally futile, with the frontline call center person ("Jasmine") just hanging up on me mid-sentence and then dodging my calls afterwards.

Not a very professionally run company which means sub standard products. They have a problem on the work floors with favoritism and a Morman guy who thinks he has to "mansolaan-splain" the simplest things. They have individuals (and the uneducated HR department knows them and parties with them as well) who are in management positions who party or camp out or hang at bars after work with their employees and then favor them in the department. It's more like a soap opera than a business. Who is sleeping with who's spouse and who got so drunk or stoned the night before they are unable to be a team player at work and everyone has to pick up that particular losers slack. Get off FMLA loosers. You're not special (well special Ed maybe).This type of "it's ok" attitude is why their products are so poor. Unfortunate really. Don't buy their products!

This is the worst cabinet company I have ever seen. We ordered a huge custom kitchen and 3 months later the scrap wood arrived. The installers quickly realized there were cabinets out of square, broken boxes, damaged doors and cheap build quality. 1.5 months later replacements arrive with same issues. Called lowes back and they informed me the Shenadoa (American Woodmark) rep was not going to replace any other damages or re-orders that came back 2x damaged. 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE STAY WELL AWAY HORRIBLE BUILD QUALITY.

Worst cabinetry making, several errors with the absolute worst workmanship. My two year old could have done a better job putting together these cabinets. Even basic steps were done wrong. Clearly, there is no real quality control or inspection before shipment.

Second largest cabinet manufacturer! If you know nothing about building cabinets or manufacturing they have a great training program! Perfect first job if you have graduated high school or college and are looking for consistent work that pays well and offers raises and bonuses along with good health insurance and retirement programs.

Hello my name is Gabriel Gonzalez a man I need of work I'm over qualified and had a phone interview to which I was call in to have a real interview. Excited that I was finally gunna get a job because there's no way I shouldn't have got it I was willing to walk my way to work everyday 2 miles and work hard to earn a car to eat food to have a home. Turns out after I walked there and told them I'm a felon they said I can still apply but not if I can't pass a marijuana drug test, this is very disheartening because I've been a bottom dog worker for forever I swing hammers and throw shovels, I have injury's consistent with this kind of work and I go home and drink beer and smoke my marijuana medically I might add , and that's what was enough to not get me hired. It's insulting and degrading that because of what I do at home that they can test for can rule out someone getting a job they may NEED I find it more insulting they don't do this for alcohol if they do it for marijuana. The fact is that this place is not equal opportunity hiring and more importantly it's a mockery of the legal hoops I had to go threw to make it so that I wasn't descriminated for using my legal prescription.
