I have a crack in my garage wall, which is also a little bit leaning. I called a major company in February to get a free estimate for the repair. They scheduled the free estimate in April. They sent me one of their salespersons who did not miss any opportunity to scare me. He talked to me as if my house was going to collapse the next day. He proposed a solution at the cost of more than 20,000 dollars (I’m not kidding). The proposal included this value as a total cost, but it was not itemized. The salesperson said the solution is warranted for 25 years; however, it never felt as a reliable solution, because the salesperson never talked with confidence. He kept saying “perhaps,” “possible,” “maybe,” “could be,” “may happen,” “with time,” etc. That night I was sad and scared. Next morning, I told my wife about the problem. She recommended that I should try to get a second opinion. This is when I started looking for another expert. I found “Attack A Crack” and I called them. I was lucky that I talked with “Luc Richard.” Luc asked me to send him a picture of the crack. After that, he asked me to send him another picture for the other side of the crack and a measurement of the tilting. As soon as I provided him with what he asked for, he got back to me speaking with full confidence, proposing a solution at just a tiny fraction of the amount mentioned above, warranted for the entire lifetime of my house. I didn’t know what to say. Luc left me speechless. I thanked him repeatedly for his professional recommendation and honest behavior, and I told him that I want to share my experience with other people by writing a review. I am still going to write another review in May after the job is complete, because “Luc Richard” and “Attack A Crack” deserve full support.
Response from the owner
Mohammed, So much of business, these days is using fear to sell. That is not my philosophy. I was happy to relieve the imagined fear that somebody used with you. It’s so easy to be susceptible to that. I fall victim to that too. I look forward to working with you in the near future. And thank you for the review.
