Jacobs & Son Concrete Contractors

Jacobs and Son Concrete Contractors poured part of the sidewalk in our neighborhood. I was able to watch their work ethic and the quality of their finished product. I decided that I wanted them to pour my patio under my rear deck. They scheduled the work, kept us up to date if there were any delays and showed up to my home on time and ready to work. They came to my home a week before the pour and prepped the area and set up the framework ahead of time. They showed up on time the day of the pour at 7AM ready to work. They poured the concrete with a buggy and did not damage my sod in the least. They poured and finished the concrete the same day and removed their framing as well. I could not be more pleased with the patio quality and finish. I would recommend Jacobs and Son Concrete Contractors for any of your concrete needs.

We just accepted the bid and will start work in a couple of weeks. But so far, throughout the quoting process, we are extremely pleased. We have seen the quality of their work and are super excited to bring our building project to completion with them. They fully understand what we want and we value their expertise.

Jacobs & Son concrete is excellent! We wanted to extend our small backyard patio to the width of the house and I’m so glad I called this group. They’re very friendly, responsive, and gave us a good deal. They also did a great job minimizing any damage to the rest of the yard. We had to wait a few weeks to get the project started (because they’re so busy/popular), but it was worth the wait! They finished within a day and a half and left the area clean. Jacobs & Sons replaced several large sections of our driveway in 2021. Our whole driveway was next power washed in 2022 at 2200 PSI. Even though the new sections are supposedly rated for 3,000 PSI, it punched numerous holes in the new sections (the old sections are fine). Jacobs refused to stand by their work saying "air bubbles came up from the ground" and "they can't control what happens when concrete sets up". Look at the photos and come to your own conclusion about the quality of their work.

Driveway done with no short cuts and within budget. Excellent work. Very professional and knowledgeable. We will recommend them to all our friends and family.

Phillip Jacobs did a fine job replacing the long concrete driveway and the sidewalk in front of our house last year. We are very pleased with the results. His wife Kelly helped us take care of all the business paperwork, and she made that experience very pleasant. Highly recommended.

Phillip and Kelly were very nice to work with. We had a difficult, crumbling drive way to deal with and they handled the job with expertise and ease. We also needed some grading done, and Phillip and his crew got it done in a day. We’ve had some shoddy work done in the past, and know that Jacobs & Sons work is top notch and will last a long time. We appreciate the fine job they did for us, and their consideration of our budget. We highly recommend them for any concrete and grading jobs.

Jacobs & Son did a really great job with a patio addition on the back of our house. They also updated our backyard with some nice stone rather than the gravel we previously had. The team was super knowledgable and friendly. They definitely went the extra mile to make sure the project came out great. I strongly recommend!
