O'Keefe Built

I cannot say enough good things about O’Keefe Built. Starting with the staff…especially Derek and Chad, the folks behind the scenes, and the carpenters…our pergola is beautiful! From the basic build to the finish stain they all were outstanding. We love it! I highly recommend their services.

Projects like this overwhelm me and I’m so happy to say that working with O’Keefe was the perfect way to handle that. Excellent, responsive and proactive communication, super nice people and my yard looks amazing. There were small typical bumps in the road (as there always are) and things were handled quickly and completely all while continuously assuring me that I wasn’t being a pain in the butt. They are genuine people and are great at what they do. I’ll be using them again!!

We have had several projects completed by O'Keefe Built over the last few years, with which we have been extremely happy. A few years ago, O'Keefe rebuilt our front steps with landing and railing. After that, they replaced our upper and lower decks. Finally, this past winter, our old wooden fence (that surrounded our front patio) has been replaced with a beautiful and fire-resistant Hardie Board enclosure! For each of these projects, we chose O'Keefe over other bids because we have been so pleased with the high quality of their work and their consistent professionalism and communication through all phases of the projects. All members of their staff, from the administrators and supervisors to their outstanding skilled workers, have been a pleasure to work with. And we are delighted with how each of the projects has turned out.

We used O’Keefe for both the design and construction of our deck. It was clear that their staff is very experienced with many types of decking product products. We appreciated being able to evaluate different systems and pick the one that best fit our project. Our deck was a large and 12 feet above the ground and included the stairs. It was a challenging project, but we are very pleased with the final product. We would use O’Keefe again.

We were extremely impressed with O’Keefe Built. Our deck wasn’t a run of the mill project. O’Keefe worked with us to design and construct a stunning deck and pergola within the difficult constraints of our lot and HOA requirements. Working with honest, kind people is of paramount importance to us and you won’t find better people than the team Pat O’Keefe has assembled. From inception through completion, communication was excellent. Everyone was professional, informative, and genuinely kind. We couldn’t have asked for a better project manager than Chad. He kept us informed each step of the way and ensured we understood each part of the process. He went out of his way to introduce himself to our neighbors and let them know to contact him if they had any questions about our construction project. Our project was completed on time and the crew was outstanding. At the end of each work day the site was cleaned, swept and their tools and materials were carefully stowed. We only wish they did basement finishing! We can’t recommend O’Keefe Built highly enough.

From start to finish, we enjoyed working with the O'Keefe team for our backyard project. Jerry helped get our vision in motion of removing our old deck and replacing it with a beautiful patio with pavers and retaining wall. The video he created was super helpful in explaining the products and scope of the project. He suggested Low Voltage Lighting to finish the look and provide necessary lighting for evening patio use. Chad managed the project and communicated with us well throughout. Jorge and the construction team paid attention to detail, asking for our input as needed to ensure the final product was to our liking. My favorite part of the patio are the waterfall style steps out the door. It's a gorgeous transition from the house down to the patio. The project took just over 2 weeks as anticipated. We are thrilled with the patio and have been loving spending time in our new outdoor space and look forward to many more years of enjoying our outdoor space. (Just need new furniture next!)

We recently completed an overhaul of our outdoor landscape at our home in Boulder, CO. We worked with O'Keefe Built to build a new fence and install decking near the pool. Pat and his team at O'Keefe Built completed these two elements of the project expertly and extremely efficiently even when battling weather elements during the winter. The quality of the fence and deck are of the highest standards and we could not be happier with the finished product. Even more importantly, Pat was excellent to work with and is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He's running a very organized business/operation. The project team of Chad, Mike, and Dayne was outstanding. They were extremely respectful of the space and very responsive to questions or concerns throughout the duration of the project. Their professionalism and craftsmanship were outstanding. I could not give a higher recommendation to O'Keefe Built and their entire team/organization.

Working with Pat, Chad and the O'Keefe Built team was a real pleasure and the result is simply outstanding. They are true craftsman and they build to a level of detail that insured every aspect of our deck and patio was just perfect...absolutely no shortcuts. The construction site was cleaned at the end of each day and everyone we met was friendly and courteous. Communication was excellent and working through design changes along the way were easy. Their advice was always spot on. The entire project was well documented and finished right on budget - no surprises! I think the best recommendation is how many of our neighbors have admired and commented on our finished project and asked for Pat's contact information.
