Outdoor Living built us a beautiful deck. Our local Ballwin building inspector gave the crew high marks for their compliance with code. A few issues arose after completion of the deck due to settling (as opposed to workmanship) and—after a delay—Outdoor Living addressed the situation. The owner was very helpful!

Popped in to look and learn about composite decking. The gentleman that helped me (I’m so sorry I don’t recall his name) was super helpful and spent good time educating me. They have a nice showroom so you can see the products and interact with them. I left with a slew of samples and a sheet which laid out prices so no surprises!

Great group of people. Extremely knowledgeable and are willing to share the knowledge. Our order got mixed up over the summer and no questions they made it right and the deck is up and functional. They actually have product in stock unlike the big box stores and what they don't have they can get extremely quickly compared to months with the big box stores. I will use them again.

Best deck and fence company I have found in St. Louis. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Their attention to detail and cleanliness is second to none. We had them build a deck at our previous house and enjoyed it for 8 years before we moved. When we built our current house, we knew who to use, but were nervous to see how much prices had increased. We were pleasantly surprised with the reasonable pricing and they built a beautiful steel frame deck for us that will last a lifetime. We were so happy with them, we also had them build us a fence. Steve and his crew did a fantastic job with the deck and Jeremy and crew did a great/quick install of the fence so both projects finished within the same week. They are the only company I would recommend to build/install a deck or fence.

I called Outdoor Living Inc. to see if someone there could assist me with information. I spoke with Blake who, knowing that no sale would result for Outdoor Living from the time he would invest in me, solved my problem. I needed to be able to identify the manufacturer of the wire railing system on my deck so I could order new parts. Without these parts, I would be facing a far more costly project. Blake asked that I send him photos of the railing system and advised me later that same day of the information I so desperately needed. I am highly impressed with Outdoor Living and would not hesitate to engage the company for services were I living in their service area. That Blake would make such an effort is, I believe, evidence of the high quality of customer care and service that Outdoor Living provides.

My wife and I purchased a fence from them. The sales person Dave was great! He even came out to our house and measured before “snowmageddon” earlier in the year. After the job was finished we had used a little less material than planned and he sent us an updated invoice for the lesser amount immediately. Very impressive! When getting the fence installed, Jeremy and his team were extremely helpful and communicated at all steps of the install. They continually asked for our input when we had decisions to make. They gave guidance but ultimately they anted to ensure our fence was what we wanted. We were very impressed with the customer service and would recommend them to anyone!

Perfect fence/deck building experience from start to finish! We dealt with Blake, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He answered all of my very unintelligent questions with complete patience (this was our first time building a deck/fence so I was full of questions). He made design recommendations which fit our budget and worked with us to get our contract signed while we were still living half way across the country. He also provided very realistic timelines. Our fence happened to be ahead of schedule and our deck was pretty much right on schedule, even though it was a six-month wait. We’re very happy with the end products. Well worth the wait!!

Highly recommended! If you are planning to build a deck (or any products/services they provide) Outdoor Living is the company to use. I had them build a vinyl wrapped composite deck on my new house a few years ago. I was able to go in the store, pick out the material I wanted and received a competitive quote. They are a reputable, honest company and they are here for you even after they have completed your project. I had to call Dave a couple of times since they built the deck to ask questions (about pouring a patio under the deck, etc.) and he always gets back to me within an hour. I called them a month or so ago because I noticed some water getting in to the basement, I called Dave and he sent Darren out to take a look. He looked around to explore the water issue, agreed to take care of it and while he was here he noticed some white deck railing pieces were just starting to turn off white. Even though it has been a few years since they built the deck, they sent out a crew a couple of weeks later and completely fixed everything! They are great to deal with, their prices are competitive and they absolutely stand by their product!
