Electrical Works

I do not recommend electrical work. The staff is highly rude. I explained my frustration regarding a request I made back in July. The staff member who answered the phone under the name of Lynda hung up on the phone twice. I decided to speak with the manager, Tod & he was highly rude as well but told me he would get me what I requested within 48 hours. I said I would follow up in 48 hours & two hours later, I received a call thinking they were able to get the information sooner, but it was an actual higher manager threatening me that If I left a bad review because I did tell Lynda that I was going to leave a bad review that he was going to contact the DVP of the company I work for to get me fired. This is so unprofessional & I have never had a vendor who gets business from our company & makes money from our company talk to me in that way. Instead of getting a solution from electrical work, I received a threat all because I was following up with my request. If you are looking for good customer service and work to get completed in a timely manner, Electrical work is not the place.

A little torn as to what rating to apply here. They were the first to arrive on a Sunday evening when our external service panel had a problem. When the tech came out he discovered that foreign debris had arced in the panel burning up the breakers for our well and one of our A/C’s. He replaced the breakers and informed us the service panel should be replaced. Getting it fixed was the objective and for that they get 5 stars. $634 for an hour at most start to finish is excessive even for a weekend evening on-call emergency visit and is deserving of 1 star so I split the difference with 3. I had other non emergency work I wanted done and had I felt the billing had been a little more reasonable they would have gotten more business from me. As it stands I went with someone else to replace my meter can/service panel upgraded to 400 amp service, as well as wiring an addition we’re putting in, workshop being built, etc., etc.

So I used to work here. I enjoyed the work, but it's not a very good company. When I was hired on, I agreed to 16 an hour, and in the 2 and a half months I worked there, I was getting paid 14 an hour. I talked to multiple people about this problem and it never got fixed. Would not recommend getting a job here.

I have been staying at the same hotel in Ellenton, Florida with a crew from EW. I have had the opportunity to speak with a few and they are such a nice group of people. You are lucky to have such great folks representing your company.

Editing this review. I only left a 5 star review because I used to work there and the owner sent a link to the employees and told us to leave reviews in order to help the Google ratings. Honestly is the best policy. It's never too late to do the right thing.

I HIGHLY recommend this company for any and all electrical work you need done. Toni is extremely professional, understanding, and friendly. I had an urgent need and she wasted no time in getting Chris out to look at my job and give me an estimate. Chris went above and beyond in giving me two estimates for two ways to get the job done. I was concerned that getting the necessary permits from lake county was going to delay the work, but Toni went to work immediately and got an expedited permit. There was no delay in getting out to my property. Harry and Mynor arrived before 8am and immediately went to work. They were both professional, hard working and very friendly. This has been the absolute BEST experience I have ever had with any tradesmen and I couldn’t be happier with having hired them. So much thanks to all of you at Electrical Works!

Had David and Rob S at our house and they were so professional and helpful. Polite and explained every detail to us and options We will definitely recommend your company and workers to anyone we no. Great company and very punctual. cleaned up after they were done excellent

I have used this company twice in the last three months. First was to install a commercial disconnect box for a compactor. Chris came out to estimate the work to be done and was extremely thorough. Harry and Dustin arrived on time and prepared for the job. They completed the work with ease and before we anticipated. I was so impressed with level of professionalism, I requested they return for a second time to perform a much more simple job. Same level of professionalism once again. I highly recommend this company especially Chris, Harry and Dustin. Thank you!
