Caleb came out when 1/2 our home lost electric. He found the problem immediately and could have up charged us, but told us not necessary for other work. We can wait. Will definitely be using them for all of our electrical needs!

EXCELLENT SERVICE!! Caleb came out when half our house lost electric. He found the problem immediately and fixed it. he could have up charged for a few items, but told us we can wait and not necessary yet. Will definitely use them for all our electrical needs.
Holiday helped fix some ceiling fan wiring that had lost current & then installed the fan as well. They were timely, professional & reasonably priced. It was a relief to have Holiday come out and have it working and up in an hour as a competitor of theirs who we called first wouldn’t even work on it because some our wiring is older (1940’s house) and the other company had tried to sell us on completely rewiring the house (for thousands of dollars). So, we called Holiday based on a recommendation, and it was not an issue for them, nor did they push for rewiring. Just goes to show you why you should always get another opinion/quote if something feels off. We will definitely use Holiday again!
Jeff and team arrived on time, and had to investigate a couple of preexisting unusual wiring situations in our 52 year old unit while updating our condo wiring. Cost was in line with expectations and Jeff also bought and installed some special requested decora designs they don't normally carry. A+ for the install, and we're happy to have found an electrician we can call on in NPR if needed in the future!
Lenny and Caleb did an excellent job. Showed up on time, were personable and professional. Reasonably priced. Asked for input on what they were about to do and provided some alternatives. They came prepared with all the tools and supplies. I will definitely use them again. Thank you Holiday!
I have been using Holiday Electric for several years now, mostly for small jobs such as checking circuitry and installing ceiling fans. Recently I hired Holiday Electric to do a re-wire job to bring by heat pump up to code. When the job was done, I realized that I was overbilled by nearly an hour of labor. At $190 per hour, that was significant. I wouldn’t have realized this except I was able to check my exterior security cameras. When I called to have the invoice adjusted the electrician, Greg, was adamant that he was entitled to the extra $155. An “Estimate”, by definition, is merely a best guess. Greg would do himself a service to learn the difference between an “estimate” and a “bid”. If Greg & Holiday Electric have no sense of professional ethics to stick with their stated $95 per hour/per person agreement, then Greg & Holiday Electric have no integrity nor shame. This review is focused only on the charge for labor. I never complained about the charge for parts. I never complained when Greg came unprepared and had to use my PVC cement. I am only angered by the fictitious hour that Greg billed me. I ended my call with Greg saying that if he would sell his honor for a paltry $155 then he had no honor to begin with and that I would gladly pay the $155 to never deal with Holiday Electric again.
Response from the owner
In response to Mr. Grace, holiday electric had given Mr. Grace an estimate and he accepted that estimate and requested us to schedule his work, which we did, we completed in a timely fashion and then we still came in $ 200.00 less than the estimate that he accepted. There were many unseen efforts involved with getting the job completed for Mr. Grace, and we still billed him for the lesser amount. Mr. Grace also expected that our truck inventory should be used at cost with no markup. No business around can survive selling their goods at cost. We don’t take any disappointment lightly and are sorry for the disagreement, our reputation and continue customer satisfaction supports this.
Holiday Electric was referred to us by Dan’s Fan City (US19, Clearwater) when we purchased a new 72” fan for our living room. Rick & Josh were on time, professional & polite. I would highly recommend Holiday Electric.
Jeff and Josh from Holiday Electric arrived on time and installed our two new ceiling fans quickly and expertly. I was especially pleased Jeff had years of experience installing ceiling fans and was able to balance the blades on one fan that ran a little noisy on initial stat up. While here they were able to address a couple of other small electrical issues we had. They resolved these quickly. Price was very fair.
