Space Coast Electric Company

I recently had a GFI in my garage that was not working, after calling a couple of electricians and got estimates from $120 to 150 to come out and look at it I called and spoke to Bill from space Coast. I explained the problem and he told me it should be a simple fix I had the receptacle not correctly installed on the outlet . After reinstalling it my problem was solved I would highly recommend Bill and space Coast electric to any of my friends what a great company. Space Coast Electric has been a blessing to my business. They always explain various options and find the most cost-effective and reliable approach for the work I have needed. When searching for a new business location, the owner went out of his way to discuss pros and cons of the power supplies at various commercial lease units I looked at and even made himself available to answer last minute, pressing questions when he was out of town. They are informative, professional, and their work is always superb!

I have been using Space Coast Electric for years for home and business. We always had a good rapport until now. I asked to have an old bathroom fan replaced. The owner suggested he buy the fan so that he could size it correctly. When the fan was installed (see picture) the hole for the fan was visible on two sides. When I brought this to his attention he told me to hire a drywall person to resize the hole to fit the fan he bought. I told him this was unacceptable and he said he was sorry. Another time I had him install a 220V line in my garage. Immediately afterward my A/C stopped working. I told him this and he did not want to return. He told me to hire an A/C company. I told him I thought it was related to the work he had just done. He told me it was highly unlikely. I hired the A/C company and when they came out showed me where the electrician had knocked loose the wire for the A/C. Space Coast Electric offered me $100 refund which I used a few months later when a light switch didn’t work. His electrician came out, looked at it and told me he couldn’t fix it, charged me $100 and I reminded him of the credit. So I used my credit from breaking my A/C connection to tell me they can’t fix a light switch. I’m done.

Moving from another part of Florida, we had a major electrical issue to correct from the inspection we had on the house we purchased to move into. After contacting several companies, we talked to Bill Burton, the owner. He responded very quickly and arranged for all the work to be done, coordinating his men with FPL. They did an amazing job (and on time.) We had a long list of issues that needed an electrician when we moved. Bill came to our house and walked through with us, gave us suggestions, and we had a proposal within the day. His men (Eric and Xavier) were clean, respectful, and very knowledgeable about their business. We could go on and on about how we fell about this business, but to sum it up, we couldn't imagine using anyone else! They have catapulted us into making this house our home. Randy and Karen Agee

Scheduled an appointment with Space Coast Electric when Bill replied to my Angie's List request. He contacted me quickly and was very patient and thorough with my questions. Had SCE install three outdoor lights and a 60" ceiling fan. Eric showed up promptly, was professional, knowledgeable and finished the job in no time. I've finally found a RELIABLE, reasonable, electric company for my future needs! Thank you, Bill!

We called Space Coast Electric Company to install a new upgrade electric panel. They gave a fair estimate. They were here on time. Eric did a great job installing the electrical panel, very professional and fast. Our power was out for only a couple of hours. We would sure recommend them and call them again. Thank you - great job!

Scheduled Space Coast Electric to come out and install a whole house surge protector and Bill gave a fair quote for the job and the electrician (Eric) who came out was prompt and professional. I would definitely give my business to them in the future based on this experience.

Work completed: Interior Manual Transfer Switch and Exterior plug for portable generator. Had to run wire from back of the house through the attic to connect the exterior plug. I was very happy working with Space Coast Electric/Bill Burton. Bill was always on time in our meetings and the job was completed quickly and in a professional manner. I am very happy how everything turned out.
