We recently hired Max Electric for electrical upgrades in our home and were thoroughly impressed. Maksim, who I believe is the owner, came to our home for a free estimate, making the planning process much smoother as we mapped out each project. He followed up the visit with a clear, detailed quote for the work. The work was performed by two other team members: Raushan and another technician whose name I don't remember. Both were efficient, clean, and showed great respect for our home. They tarped each area to minimize dust and debris, communicated clearly about what they were doing, and left hardly any trace behind. We had two power outlets installed in the garage, added recessed lighting throughout our home (most in brand new spots, others were conversions from what were previously can lights), and replaced our ceiling fans with modern ones. Everything was completed within the estimated time and cost—no surprises. What really stood out to us was the pride they took in their work, which is evident in how incredible everything looked when finished. We are so happy with how our home looks post-upgrade that we are already planning future projects with them that we wouldn't have considered before this. Highly recommend Max Electric!

These folks are wonderful! From calling to set up an appointment, with Max (very informative on the phone) to the work getting completed by Raushan (delightful and knowledgeable) they are simply top shelf all the way. We have an older home (100+ y/o) so sometimes the electrical is tricky. But I had two new fixtures installed, some very old switches swapped for new ones, and a little discussion about potentially installing an electric heat pump (my dream for this old house). All this was done in less than 2 hours, trash hauled away, and the spaces cleaned and tidy before Raushan departed. The cost was very reasonable and fully discussed up front before I committed to any work. HIGHLY recommend them for any electrical work you may need.

My living room LED light started flickering, so I decided to get a brand new ceiling fan with light to replace (I also had a kitchen light changed to a new ceiling fan). Max gave me a free estimate and scheduled an appointment a day after. I live in Oakland, but Max came on time all the way from San Francisco. Max was very professional and focused. He brought heavy duty "boxes" for the ceiling fans so that the ceiling fans could be installed correctly and securely. These ceiling fans are operated by remotes (lights are also turned on/off by switch - I asked Max to install that way, too), so he set up the two remotes one for living room and another for the kitchen separately so that each remote won't get confused which fan to operate (it could turn on one and turn off another at the same time if the remotes were not separately set up). Max also hooked up the remote holder on the wall, replaced a new switch for the living room ceiling fan, changed the reverse switch to the correct switch for the kitchen fan (they previous home owner had it reversed way) without charging me extra, cleaned up the working area, took all the trash including the ceiling fans' empty boxes. Max is very knowledgeable and reliable. I will be calling him for all future electric work for my house. If you need any help for electric work, Max Electric is the place you want to call 100%.
