Absolutely worst experience with any contractor. Nothing but lies, delays and avoiding phone calls. Finally, 3 weeks after they had promised to have the fence up around our pool, a “sub contractor” showed up and started the 3 day job. Constantly telling me how bad Allied was and we should call them first next time. Then the bill came for $600 more than the quoted price. Not one word about an increase. Obviously after all the lies we would have gone with another company. Sadly, they were great 5 years ago when we got our original fence. The owner died. Not the same company. Corrupt, lying crooks. I wish I had read the reviews on Facebook Yelp and here before getting ripped off by liars and crooks.

Talked to this company 3 weeks ago today, said someone would be here Wednesday or Thursday. Sat home Wednesday and Thursday, no one showed up. Wasted 2 days waiting on these people, no calls or anything. My time is important too. Going with different company

Made an appointment for them to come out and give us a quote on a fence. Was told they would be there at 930 AM “sharp”. Took off of work to be there to meet with them, and when no one showed up by 11 I called. Spoke to a different person, and was told “Yea the guy just stepped out of the office, let me try to get in contact with him and call you back”. Never even took my name or the address that was supposed to be quoted. Needless to say I never heard back!

Called at least 3 different times spoke with 3 different people about getting in estimate on a 6 ft black chain link fence, was told twice someone would be coming. No one ever showed up. Went with Tri State fence. They showed up twice and returned calls.

I was scheduled to have some work done and they never even showed up or called. I called them twice at 8 am and 945 am and was told they were coming that day as planned. Around 130 that afternoon received a txt with a number to call of an installer to only be told he was short of help and would be the next day before coming and that he had told them that early that morning. So I went by to talk with someone about my displeasure of what happened to only be told we will reschedule your appt or just find someone else. I politely told the owner if his work was like his word I beleive I would find someone else to do my job! Dont waste your time with this pathetic company!

I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and it looks like I'm the second person to do so. In my case, Allied Fence Co. installed a fence with a defective gate over a sprinkler head before I accepted their quote and will not correct/repair the defects. To start, I called for a quote while purchasing a new home in Dothan from another state. I called back after receiving other quotes and owner told me he had already installed the fence, without my authorization, and before we even closed on the property!! The fence was installed over a sprinkler head, causing it to malfunction. The gate sagged because they used cheap screws instead of the correctly coated lag bolts. They left string and nails on the top of the fence. They did a really terrible job of cutting the fence around the brick of the house and left large gouges in the wood around the latch. Finally, instead of cutting the boards to fit flush, they just nailed boards on top of each other so they stuck out. I called weekly for four weeks in an attempt to get the defects repaired and was met with a consistent, "we'll get someone out there this week". They did not call back when they said they would. They did not show up. I spoke with the owner on two occasions. He told me that it was my responsibility to move the sprinkler system and blamed the builder for putting the sprinkler heads too close to the property line. Avoid Allied Fence Co. at all cost. They will likely be the cheapest quote you receive, but it comes at a cost. I would never, ever do business with this company again. (See the pictures attached for examples referenced herein.)
