I had HandyMaestro build a fence around my backyard garden and it's turned out wonderfully! Dimtrii was great to work with from start to finish. He came out quickly for the estimate and provided an estimate later that day. He made sure to ask me questions when choices needed to be made and he took the time to redo a couple items when he realized they weren't going to look good. I appreciated his thoughtfulness and he clearly took pride in his work. He even accommodated a last minute request to fix a small fence that had been broken by a falling tree. Highly recommended!

While searching for a contractor to install an automatic metal gate at my house, I interviewed a few companies. Dimitri at Handy Maestro was not only attentive and knowledgeable during our first meeting, but he also demonstrated to be very professional, thoughtful, and detail-oriented throughout the entire project. He ended up installing an automatic gate and also a side mechanical gate. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the quality is outstanding. In addition to that, his after-sales service is impressive. I contracted Dmitrii and his crew at HandyMaestro to help repair the glass railing at the edge of my deck which had grown dangerously loose. Dmitrii responded quickly and was able to come up to my house, assess the problem and give an estimate in a very short amount of time. The pricing was extremely fair and reasonable, and the work was very carefully done — with a special attention given towards ensuring the stability and safety of the new glass railings. Dmitrii and HandyMaestro went above and beyond, even taking several additional measures to ensure that the railing looks even better (and is even more safe) than it was when I first moved into the house. Dimitrii and his crew did an amazing job on my third floor deck. He is very detail oriented and patient in explaining to me what needed to be done. He worked within my budget and was always on the lookout for deals for better materials. During the project, there was an anticipated rainstorm- he and his guys made an extra trip out to the house to waterproof and seal up the open spots, very conscientious guy. He was willing to take on extra projects for him that he was able to easily do ( adding a gutter, repairing a vent, redoing siding on the house), but he's really a master at deck work. If you live on a hillside, he knows how to navigate complex situations because he's built many of the decks in the likes of Mount Washington and South Pasadena. Highly recommend, very responsive and reasonable.

Handy Maesto refinished a deck, railing and stairs, as well as well as prepping and painting two exterior doors that were heavily weathered. Dmitri was very knowledgeable and responsive in advance, and attentive and communicative during the two day job (he was there about half the time). Aditi completed the majority of the work and was there the entire job. I am fully satisfied with the Handy Maestro's work (see photos) and the professionalism of both Dmitri and Aditi. I would absolutely hire them again.

Our challenging deck project with HandyMaestro was a huge success. Our old deck was very damaged but also very integrated to the structure of the house, making the project particularly complex. Dmitri moved forward thoughtfully, and addressed all the surprises which old houses present along the way. Even with some unexpected scope changes along the way, Dmitri was careful to stay as close to our original budget as possible. The new deck looks gorgeous.
