Horrible experience! Very nice until I gave them my money which wasn't all returned! Then the guy that I was supposed to talk to hid in his office and sent the schmoozer to speak with me. He basically charged a restock fee at install price. Have to litigate

Danette, Thank you for your review. We value the opinion of all of our customers, whether it be good or bad. Even though it is our goal to make sure all of our customers have a great experience with us, we understand that we cannot please everyone. But, if you are going to claim that we didn't return your money, then we feel the need to make sure the actual reason as to why this happened is known. You are correct, you were charged a restocking fee of 25% for the baseboard material that you wanted us to order for your job. That material had already been delivered and paid for by us and was in our warehouse waiting to be installed at your job when it was your time to be scheduled. Then, you decided that you wanted to cancel your job because you did not want to wait any longer for your flooring to arrive. This cancellation came from you, and was not initiated by us. At this point we now have to return the baseboard that was ordered for your job specifically, it is not a stock item that we keep. The company that we got the baseboard from is now going to charge us a fee to return the baseboard and for them to come pick it up and take it back. In turn we are then going to charge you, the customer who cancelled their job on their own, that restocking fee of returning the baseboard. That has been our standard practice, and many other businesses practice as well, for a very long time. We did not cancel your job, you did. So we are not going to take the hit for something we did not do. Hopefully this clears things up for you and others as to why you did not receive your full amount of money back.
