5 days ago While we make it a practice to obtain three bids for any service project, we failed this time. Ben, the project manager was so knowledgeable and pleasant, we felt we could trust his expertise. He spoke with honesty and we felt his integrity coming through, as he carefully explained the basics and complexities of a furnace/heat pump/AC function. As a result, we chose Ben and Ideal Comfort to install our system without obtaining any other quote. Ben and Ideal Comfort worked quickly and efficiently to complete the installation. The installers were pleasant, accommodating, and worked long past 5 PM to complete the install. They were careful to remove their shoes, and used a drop cloth. When we requested a possible change to the exhaust pipe placement, Ben good-naturedly adapted the plan, and was very fair with the price adjustment. After the installation was complete, we had some initial issues with a default programming issue with our thermostat. Ben came right over and began systematically trouble-shooting, even though he suspected the problem was with our thermostat. Should any issues should arise with our new HVAC system, we are confident Ben, and Ideal Comfort will assume responsibility promptly. We are enjoying the warmth of our combo heat pump/multi-stage furnace. and glad we are

Awesome customer service, squeezed us in on really short notice. Huge thanks to Steven for answering all my questions and doing such a thurough job on three systems in one day; and, providing a detailed write-up on everything. Will definitely be using Ideal Comfort again. Thank you!

***Edit to respond to owners comments: My review is entirely accurate, and makes clear there was a warranty company in the mix. You are conveniently avoiding the main point as well- my opinion that you did not actually inspect what I think (and told your reps) is the real issue, and refused to do so even when I pleaded. Also, I’m confused- are you saying that because a warranty company paid you for the inspection (whom I had to pay in the first place BTW, which I made clear to your reps), you don’t have to do a proper inspection? In addition, you are accusing me of Libel as well as stating that I cursed and yelled at your employees. Be careful- those are both untrue, as I suspect you know, and seem to me meant to damage and defame me given you don’t like my honest review. Original review: In my opinion, they are a terrible company, that I fond lacking in integrity- and cannot recommend hiring them! My home warranty sent them to troubleshoot my A/C not cooling the upstairs properly. One obvious cause to me was that there was almost no airflow out of the vents, which run in the attic. Unfortunately the attic was hot given the outside temp, and the tech seemed to me to clearly not want to get up there from the start- even though I clearly mentioned the issue. He briefly looked at the furnace/unit inside, and the compressor at the back of the house, and then declared that my refrigerant was 1 pound low and that this must be the problem, and then gave a bid for over two hundred to top it off- to the warranty company. This seemed obvious to me that it wasn’t going to fix my problem, but the warranty company also apparently told him we were not going to pay for this on the spot, and so he started packing up to immediately leave. When I re-told him that the refrigerant was not likely going to solve the issue since there was no airflow and that I needed him to go inspect the attic to see what the main issue was, he hemmed and hawed and called the office. After more time on the phone with them then it would probably have taken for him to just go inspect in the attic, they first demanded more money and then ultimately refused to go in the attic to actually inspect what seems obviously the issue to me. I asked for my inspection money back so I could get some other reputable company to do what i believe is the actual needed inspection, and they refused that as well. What a joke of a company- got paid to do the inspection and still refused to do a thorough job! And all of this over probably 15 minutes in a hot attic. What a joke- your an HVAC company! I’m guess I might take it up with my CC company to get the money I paid them back, and will def not use them again.

This is a completely unfair review. We are Ideal Comfort. We are contracted and paid by Timothy’s Home Warranty Company with which Timothy has a policy. We can only do exactly as they instruct us throughout the entire course of the call, and we can do what they authorize us to do. There are no exceptions to that. We were not and are not authorized to any more than what we did. When Timothy called my office screaming and cursing at my employees, My General Manager tried very calmly and with a lot of respect to Timothy to explain this to him several times despite the fact that he was being cursed at and screamed at through the entire conversation. We regret that Timothy has taken the wrong approach here and is attacking us for what his Home Warranty does or does not include as part of his policy, but we can’t stop that from happening with some folks. Given all of the other businesses around the country that Timothy has given a 1-star review to, I suppose that no one should be surprised that this review is not factual and that it is libelous. We trust that our valued customers and discerning prospective customers see the difference between Timothy’s “Review” and our other reviews. We are not the problem here, but we wish Timothy the best of luck in his search for someone who wants his business just the same. Michael, Owner.

Our furnace went out at 7:00pm on a night where the low was expected to be around 16 degrees. Luckily we had what we needed to keep warm for one night. We contacted Ideal Comfort and immediately exchanged pictures and information with the owner. Mike was wonderful and called Carrier the next morning. He got a tech out here at 6:00 pm today less than 24 hours after we reached out and before another cold night with low temperatures. Norm was wonderful. He was so kind to our very inquisitive kiddos who wanted to ask a million questions and professional the entire time he was here. What would have taken us hours to complete took Norm less than 90 minutes and it wasn’t an easy repair. We will only use Ideal Comfort for all future HVAC needs.

I'm a new customer. Ideal Comfort serviced or repaired my HVAC systems twice in 2022 and I could not be happier. My furnace failed in early December and they had their Tech (Alec) out to repair it the same day. Problem diagnosed and fixed quickly. Earlier in the year, their Tech (Mike) checked and serviced my AC units. Both Alec and Mike were friendly, courteous, knowledgable and capable. Oh, and... the price was right too. I'm very satisfied with Ideal Comfort and recommend them highly.

I recommend getting at less 4 to 5 bids before replacing your old A/C Heating system. I was impressed that the owner of Ideal Comfort came out and provided my bid. All of the other bids were within a few hundred dollars of each other. Ideals bid was thousands less than the others and provided a 17 Seer state of the art system to include a 12 year parts and LABOR warranty. Mike Cassity, owner of Ideal, checked in during the installation and followed and followed up a few days later. I was very impressed with the installation team and would highly recommend Ideal Comfort.

Javier and team were outstanding! We had a large multi-day install for our duplex. Before the project began he worked with me on several different configurations. He went above and beyond in helping figuring out units, costs, financing options, and rebates. The entire team was respectful and professional throughout the entire process. We have no hesitations recommending and will work with them again in the future.
