Awesome team! Comfort Air (based in Cortez, CO.) is a great business. They help you find the perfect heating/cooling options for you and your budget! The team is kind, clean, organized, and efficient. Everyone was willing to clarify every question or concern we had. The team was so clean and organized we wouldn't have even realized they were in our home, aside from the great cassettes and wall mounts we now have. Leaders communicated well every step of the way. All the stars. It was clear they wanted to do the best work they could and they did!
Comfort air helped us get set up with a new heating and cooling system to replace the outdated baseboards in our home! Great group and they did some outstanding work!

Absolutely ZERO response from this office. My first call was over 60 days ago. My FOUR different attempts to schedule an appointment after speaking with office staff (and two voice mail messages) apparently weren't enough to motivate anyone from this company. I called with plenty enough time (so I thought) for heating season. I required a full furnace replacement and made sure the office knew that my home had NO HEAT. I have never received a call back from anyone in regards to even scheduling an estimate. As a local contractor I'm appalled at this type of customer service (No customer service). Even a call to say they were unable to perform the work would have been better than GHOSTING a potential customer. Comfort Air will receive no further recomendations from my Home Maintenance business going forward. Im now sitting in a fully heated home after their local competitor responded to me within 3 hours, scheduled an estimate appointment for the following day, and completed the work 6 days later. Disappointing experience! We purchased a very expensive Fujitsu heating and air conditioning unit in 2021 from Comfort Air. The unit stopped working in August of this year, only 2 years after purchase. The technicians seemed to have a difficult time diagnosing the problem. It took them 3 trips out to eventually get it fixed. They ordered a part and it did not fix the problem. They had to order another part which did eventually fix the problem. We were without air for more than 3 weeks. We had to call the office several times to find out when they expected to be back out. The ladies in the office were always very friendly and sympathetic to our situation. In the end it ended up costing us $962.50 for labor and $246.00 for refrigerant on a unit that is only 2 years old. Fortunately the unit itself is under warranty, but not the labor to fix this very expensive unit. Praying this was the last of our problems. We can’t afford this every other year. Disappointed!!

We are sorry for your experience, but we do take our reviews seriously as well as taking care of our customers. The system that was installed in your home is a very sophisticated system that has lots of communicating electrical components. Sometimes when a part fail, due to power surges, lightning or any other catastrophic failure, we are not able to diagnose how deep the problem extends into the system. We hope that repairs are a simple fix, but sometimes they are more complicated. We are also at the mercy of manufactures to supply replacement parts in a timely manner, as with most things, they are tough to get manufactured with supply chain and labor issues. Our furnace stopped working and I called Comfort Air to see if they could help. Within a few days, they sent somebody out, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. Tyson was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I will be calling Comfort Air again for any future HVAC needs.
Comfort air installed my cooler. Called them a few years after to start it up in the spring after my husband died. Older employee came out but couldn't figure out how to get it running. Stood on my roof swearing. Then left. Got it up and running myself. Few years later water just ran off my roof constantly. Went to their office twice. Was told I needed a new part and filters. Filters were over $200 . Bought the part but didn't help. Bought filters online for $66. Water never stopped. Call this year to have it repaired. Took days for them to call me to set up an appointment. Was told by rude man on the phone that I probably needed a $1000 part for the drain. He said I seemed not happy with Comfort Air. I agreed so he told me he would pass on helping me and hung up. This was a very expensive cooler and now I am stuck with a cooler that doesn't work. This is how Comfort air treats people.

TK, Sorry to hear about your experience. As a business that has been successful for over 32 years, our team strives to take care of our customers. By knowing the situation you have, we are trying to guide you in the most cost effective direction and not spend $1,000 on a part that is not needed, and you seem to have it figured out. I would take your review more personal if you did not just leave bad reviews for everyone online trying to ruin their name.
We have used Comfort Air multiple times. They installed attic vents a few years ago and just installed a mini split air conditioner / heat pump unit. They have always communicated in a timely manner, offered good solutions and explained the entire process. The technicians have done excellent work. Super clean & professional. They are very well trained & take pride in the quality of their work. When the technician completed the installation of the Mini Split AC/Heat pump he answered all my questions and gave me a tutorial on how to use and maintain it. He even offered several suggestions and tips for maintaining the unit that were specific for our location & climate. He then asked if I had any other questions. I would highly recommend them. First Class from start to finish.
