I highly recommend the heating expertise and the supportive caring service of Fire & Ice. Gary is there in an instant should there be need of immediate attention no matter the time. Joe has been servicing my furnace annually and I appreciate his know how and efficient, friendly manner. The office staff can be a source of recommendations for other reliable technicians in the area - such as plumbing or chimney masonry. They are hands down a company that will deliver a professional job well done. I appreciate their presence in Granby.

We had Fire and ice come out to give us a quote on putting in an AC system (mini splits) anyway, still not a cheap job. It's been over a month and we haven't gotten a quote back yet.!! If people can't get back in a timely fashion, they don't deserve the job. My fiancee and I don't believe in chasing after a business to do a job. We went to another "well established" business in town.

My fiancé and I went to the Fire & Ice office on January 12, 2024. We went to one door, and were told to go the other end of the plaza and use that door. We walked down to that door to find it was locked. We then went back to first door down the other end to tell them the door was locked. We went back to the locked door and someone let us in finally. We went there looking for information on a 2 head mini split system. After talking with someone there, an appointment was scheduled for January 19 to come look at the job. I told him, I was looking for bids on a Mitsubishi two zone system, and we discussed locations and measurements were taken. I was told I would hear of the proposal in a few days, but now over 3 weeks have past with no word, the job was given to another local business to do the job. If I am going to pay someone for a job ( and it is a sizable job ), I will not chase them to see if they want the job.

Prompt, thorough, and very reasonable! I am very happy that my friend recommended Fire and Ice for my hvac issue. Kevin took the time to properly diagnose our natural gas furnace issue and fixed the problem. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

This HVAC company has done an outstanding job. They do a more comprehensive job cleaning the furnace than other local companies and ensuring all parts are working as they’re supposed to.

Highly recommend this company especially if you have a Google Nest or other smart thermostat!!! Kevin was very knowledgeable about these thermostats and how they work with the more traditional boiler and ac unit that was already in our house. We had a problem all of a sudden with the thermostats malfunctioning(no power to rh wire, then later issues with the common wire). Google customer service was a nightmare! You need to be very handy to say the least to be able to follow their troubleshooting over the phone, and it cost me many hours away from work to do all of this. I had a different hvac company in the area come out and they could not find the problem, instead they incorrectly diagnosed and recommended repair after repair when the previous one didn't do the trick. After they couldn't fix it for the 2nd time and told me it was something else, I thought I'd seek a second opinion elsewhere as I was fed up and lost all confidence in this company (they assured me that each fix would do the trick, it didn't). Anyway, after all of that frustration I called Fire and Ice. They said they had just the guy I was looking for. Kevin came out the next day on time and was a pleasure to work with, unlike the previous company that seemed disgusted that I had asked them to work on a Google Nest thermostat. Kevin jumped right in and found the problem within the first 30 minutes. Apparently the wiring from the ac and boiler to the nest was not installed correctly which lead to the base of the thermostat malfunctioning (my heat and ac fan would randomly turn on even when the thermostat said off) From there, he rewired my thermostat to the ac and boiler. It worked!!!!!!! I cannot tell you how relieved I was when I saw that both my thermostats were working as they should with the boiler and ac systems. Within 2.5 hours my hvac problems were fixed at a very reasonable price too! Something the other company I previously used couldn't get done try after try for a higher price. No more chances for them. Wish I went to Fire and Ice the first time! Highly recommend them for all your hvac needs!

Gary came out and did a fantastic and thorough job at our house. We were very impressed with his knowledge. He was on time and respectful of keeping our home clean. We would highly recommend Fire and Ice!

I am a new customer and based on the recommendations of two neighbors I had Fire and Ice do the annual system maintenance on my oil fired boiler. I was not unhappy with my prior service company but Fire and Ice did a more thorough job than my prior company and did a complete combustion analysis for less money. I have had my system maintained annually and it has been relatively trouble free. I believe that with Fire and Ice I will get many more years of service out of this boiler.
