Green Attic Insulation Chicago & Suburbs

Romulo and his crew did a fantastic job! The insulation looked amazing. We could see the rafters before, and now they are covered in lovely cellulose! They were friendly and respectful, cleanup up well, and I’m so happy with my newly insulated home! Thanks Patrick for giving me such a thorough quote and answering all my questions. Green Attic takes customer service very serious. We have a 151 year old home and she needs extra Tlc. Of course surprises happen with old homes. Our air handler in the attic had an issue after an extensive insulation project. Green Attic sent out Julio and his team. They had the issue fixed within 24 hours. I appreciated working with Green Attic, and I have high standards for contractors. From the beginning, Patrick was great to work with. He was patient with my questions, honest in his assessment and recommendations, and truly wanted to make sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Edgar and his team did a great job with all the work in our attic. I appreciated that Green Attic installs baffles in every rafter bay of the attic where other companies that quoted the job (at very similar prices) only installed baffles in the limited number of bays that had soffit vents. As with most projects with any contractor, a few minor issues came up and Patrick, Edgar and the team were quick to address them, going above and beyond what I expected. It's refreshing to see a company that stands behind their word and takes care of their customers.

Worked with Frank, Cindy and Diego to do some mold remediation, insulation installation and installation of some ventilation and a solar fan in our 100 year old home's attic. The team was very courteous, quick and clean. Very happy with the work they did, and was charged a fair price. Had been looking at spray foam insulation originally that would have easily been double the cost, but wasn't really worth the cost trade off. Overall, very happy with the work that was done. Would definitely recommend.

UPDATE: I appreciate the company contacting us and promptly fixing all the things I mentioned in my review. They did a good job today and they care about how and what they are doing (so you can make sure if something is wrong, they will fix it) but I wish they would do it right from the beginning. Please improve your communication but otherwise, I don't have any issues with this company anymore. Thank you. ------- They left our house worse than it was before. They cut 3 holes in the walls just to understand that it's a plaster wall and no insulation can be put in (which is fine but why do you need to make 3 holes??). When fixing the holes, they put pieces they cut out in incorrect places, leaving gaps, so I had to re-install the pieces before the foam they attached those pieces to dried out. They also didn't completely "fix" them, so now I need to hire someone to fix all those holes. They also found some mold in the attic, which prevents insulation installation and gave us a $3000 quote to fix the mold. If you know the mold can be a problem, why you didn't check the attic prior making the initial quote for insulation? We had their expert came out prior giving us the quote but he didn't even check the attic. It would be logical if you are doing attic insulation, you would check the attic. UPDATE: ITS WORSE THAN I THOUGHT. They left trash in our attic (cardboards, spray cans).

Good Crew was very professional and their insulation work was good. Person quoting job was very good , quick and very responsive with questions Bad Really bad patch job by the crew. Even 'rough' path should have been a lot better than what they did. Site lead Jonathan was not very reliable with communication on the day of the job even though that was the expectation they set. No real follow up from company. Ideally they would be able to do some test to check improvement before and after insulation was added (even if there was a cost) The person quoting the job was not the same as crew doing the job. So I had to explain the work needed all over again which is not ideal, especially with language gaps.

Super happy with Green Attic. The whole process went smooth from day 1. They spray foamed the following: slab, crawl encapsulation, exterior wall, and flat roof. They also had the best pricing. Will use them again when I remodel more areas of the house.

The workers were perfect. Respectful of my property, my neighbors property, and requests. They listened attentively and got to work immediately with a great outcome - The end product of my attic work looked great! Most importantly, they took the same attention to detail with insulation to even post-clean up. HIGHLY recommended!
