Koala Insulation of Newark

We have a 60 year old split level that had little to no insulation, we participated in the Delaware home energy audit program and now we have a well insulated 60 year old split level. The improvements to our energy expenses and comfort have been dramatic. Matt and his team's pricing, professionalism and diligence to their work was fantastic. Matt Baxter was extremely helpful and always took the time to explain the process and make me feel comfortable. Matt was looking out for my best interest from the start. He offered options for savings and came out twice during the scope development process to ensure everything would work out great. Matt came out every day of the project as well. We hired this company to do air sealing and insulation in our home, using a mixture of spray foam and fiberglass in different spaces. I was impressed with the reduction in air loss they were able to get. They exceeded their own estimates even; I am always pleasantly surprised when a company over-delivers, although we may have also just gotten lucky. I found this company very easy to work with: they communicated clearly and gave us a sense of the relative pros and cons of different options, and what would be most cost-effective. Although I was mainly motivated to hire these guys to save money on my heating bill, I also noticed an immediate improvement in comfort after doing their work. The house was less drafty, the basement became particularly warmer, and this in turn made the first floor's floor warmer which made it much more comfortable.

Terrific experience. The team from Koala Insulation arrived when expected and sealed and insulated my rim joists. The work was performed neatly and efficiently and looks great. I rarely write reviews for companies, but this one truly deserves it. Highly impressed and I'll definitely be using them again as well as referring them to family and friends.

We hired them to air seal our home, spray rim joints in basement and garage ceiling with spray foam. The crew went beyond our expectations with the process from start to finish! Matt and the crew were the best of several contractors we received quotes from to insulate our attic and basement. Matt did the best job explaining the work and the choices he thought made the most sense, and they get you a great price to boot. Would definitely use their services again!
