Flores Artscape

We hired Flores Artscape for a large, complex hillside project. They executed it flawlessly, and were excellent about communication throughout the project. Any issues (and they were rare and minor) they handled immediately. Would absolutely use them again!

It pains me to write this, but unfortunately, we did not have the best experience with Flores Artscape. To summarize, they are very friendly people, and for that, we are thankful because the experience would have been a lot worse if they hadn't been as friendly as they are. Friendliness aside, generally, their workmanship is pretty bad. They paid zero attention to detail, made so many mistakes it was hard to keep track of, and ultimately, there was zero oversight over the project. The workers were often lost and unsure of what to do, and "management" was clearly clueless about what had to be done for the project or what mistakes had to be fixed. The lack of attention to details I mention aren't small things either. I mean details like taking the right measurements for a wall, using the same colored wood for a deck, etc. I can go on about each mistake, but the picture shared perfectly summarizes our experience working with them. Ultimately, this is low-quality work for what I consider a pretty costly price tag (43k).

I had a great time working with the team at Flores Artscape on a project to put hedges at my house. From start to finish, the customer service and quality of work was top notch. Carlos and his crew did an excellent job installing the trees and they look amazing. Then, when I decided after the fact that I also wanted to put in an irrigation system, everyone was super accommodating, even moving up the installation date at my request so it could be completed before I had to leave for vacation. And in the time since the project was finished more than a month ago, I sometimes text Nancy with questions about the trees and she is always quick to get back to me with very helpful answers. I would absolutely recommend Flores to anyone in LA with landscaping needs.

We had a great experience with Flores building our deck. Nancy, the project manager, was responsive to any questions we had throughout the project. The crew was friendly and adaptable to feedback and changes. We are enjoying the final product!

We hired this company to install some french drains, channel drains and a sump pump in our backyard. From start to finish, we had an incredible experience with this company. From my initial phone call with them all the way through the completion of the work, they were always on top of every detail and communication. They were the ones to reach out to schedule (and the person who was scheduling already knew all of the details I had explained in my initial call - wow), confirm the appointment, arrive on time, check in with us, monitor the project, etc etc - never once did I have to do more work in order to have them do the work, unlike every other contractor I've ever worked with. The project manager even CAME OUT to our house to ensure all was running smoothly and our expectations were met. Most importantly, they take pride in their work and the finished product was absolutely amazing (there is literally not a single drop of water in our backyard during this storm). They also finished a day earlier than they originally quoted us, and they will work with you until you are entirely satisfied with absolutely no push back. This company cares about their customers and offers competitive pricing. Thank you Flores Artscape! Hire them, you won't regret it!

Flores helped us design our amazing new backyard. The designing process with Jason was really great and he was very accommodating. Rumuldo oversaw the project and was very communicative and helpful. The pictures show the empty blank slate and how they helped us make it in to desert oasis with a concrete slab for a hot tub in the middle. Definitely recommend working with Flores!

We were looking to do a smart yard revamp on a new rental property in Los Angeles. The property had a remodeled house and a recently-built 2nd unit. So, we wanted a landscape design that would work with a budget for a rental, as well as provide separation of space for the tenants that were going to be in each unit. Also, since I don't live in LA, I needed a team that I could trust to communicate creatively with me and get the work done in an organized manner. After interviewing several firms, I felt that Flores was the best fit as they were happy to get creative to get this done on a budget, were available, and were well versed in what would work in this situation. Cody was on top of the project from day 1, and presented a design that matched our goals. Eric and team communicated almost daily, and offered solutions and suggestions that I hadn't even thought of. We spent a LONG time going through the deck of colors for the sunshade, and it was clear that they really wanted the best for our project. They were able to come up with great plants that will require almost no work, suggestions for pops of color, and a design that maximizes use of a shared space. These were definitely the best vendors that we worked with on this remodel. I have already invited them to look at another of our properties....

Highest of recommendations to the entire team at Flores. Not only did they give us a very quick and extremely reasonable bid, they worked with us to find the best solution for our problem both in price and construction. The work was completed very fast, very clean and very well done. The scheduling, communication, work, follow up was all incredibly great. We've already recommended them to our neighbors who are equally pleased and we are planning more work with them in the future. A truly great find, can't recommend more.
