The previous owner of my house created a landscaping circle in the center of the yard, so it never felt like we had a full front yard. Al moved it to the property corner and put a row of arborvitaes along the property line. Fantastic experience!

Al’s landscaping just did an absolutely gorgeous job lining my property with arborvitae’s and shaping my home with a few new plants!!!! The work was done quickly and cleanly for a great price! Highly recommend!

After 20 years in our home, we decided our landscaping needed a total makeover. In addition, we had other recurring issues that had to be addressed. We had the good fortune to call Al at Al’s Landscaping and Nursery. Al came out to see what we had in mind and came back with a complete plan to address all our needs and to add some much-needed enhancements. Al totally redesigned our planting beds, provided plans to replace our sinking paver walk and to replace a failing retaining wall in the back of our property, and he suggested the installation of a new paver walk around the side of the house to the back. Before starting work Al met with us several times and together, we refined the plans before the start of the work. And then Robert and his crew began the work and did an outstanding job in every way. They were meticulous in all aspects of the project. They arrived on time every day, they worked hard all day long, they took pride in their work and had one goal in mind, and that was to make sure we were a totally satisfied customer. They replaced a failing retaining wall in the back of our yard and they regraded and replaced all our planting beds. The new paver walk came out beautiful as did the new walk to the back of our house. The new shrubbery Al suggested looks absolutely beautiful. So once complete it was sad to see Robert and his crew move on to their next job. We looked forward to their arrival every day and to see them work their magic. In the end they clearly met their goal to leave us as a totally satisfied customer. Their work was exceptional and we were thrilled with the outcome. In the end they exceeded our expectations. We are so glad we switched from another lawn sprinkler maintenance company in Newington to Allied Lawn Sprinklers and Al's Nursery. They provided much better customer service and expertise in replacing the old lawn sprinkler heads we had installed. The technicians were polite and helpful and reviewed the work we needed to be done. They were on time and very efficient in the repair work they did. We plan to use them for the regular winterizing maintenance service, too.

Robert and his team are exceptional! I recently hired Al’s Landscaping to redo the garden beds around my house. The level of customer service I received is unparalleled… Right from the start, Robert took the time to walk their nursery yard with me to get to know my likes/dislikes (the quality and selection is impressive by the way) and to understand my goals for the project … through the entire design process to create a plan that not only worked for the space but stayed on budget … to scheduling the work, job completion and clean-up … no detail was missed. We had our origional front garden removed and replaced. The crews worked incredibly hard for 3 days, they were terrific guys and answered all my many questions with great patience. If someone didn't have the answer they brought me to the person who did. As this was "my first rodeo" I had many, many questions and hesitancies during the planning process. So glad we came across Al’s Landscaping. From beginning to end it was a pleasure to work with David who designed our backyard landscape along with Rob who was instrumental in creating a solution to our water issues surrounding the poolscape. It was a challenging project to say the least but they were more then happy to help so we wouldn’t have to worry about future water issues. David was always responsive to my questions and thoughts and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. It’s become our own backyard oasis and look forward to creating a new front landscape design in the near future.
