Blades of Grass Landscaping

We are so happy with Blades of Grass. This week our lawn was cut and cared for by Mike and he did an excellent job. He cut the lawn exactly the way my mom likes it and she is a picky customer when it comes to her lawn care. Can we always have Mike please?? 🙂 He did the cross hatch pattern on the grass with the push mower which is very nice. All the employees are professional and polite. They always listen to any requests and do a nice job. Highly recommend this company to anyone considering lawn or snow service.

Great looking lawn, best it’s looked in the 18 years I have lived here in Elyria. We switched to a local company (Blades of Grass) after being with TLC for 2 years. TLC is headquartered in Massachusetts, and we were never able to talk to a real person before an application. Not so with B.O.G. Nice office staff and technicians.They send you an email notification before every in-person visit. Mike the technician is excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any question. I am glad we switched!

My compliments to everyone at Blades of Grass Landscaping. After doing research I took a leap of faith and hired Blades of Grass.The customer service team were friendly and knowledgeable. Joe, the owner, showed up on time and even in pouring rain did a thorough walkthrough of my property. We discussed all areas of need. His team, Emily and Myron arrived on time and knew the details of the job. They clarified areas of need and checked with me regularly as to the attention to details. They are a great working team. Both were personable, professional and hardworking. Hats off to them. My yard looks fabulous. Blades of Glades will be my “go to” landscaping company. Thanks!

New fertilizer and weed control customer this year. They are very professional and communicate often. Mike has been great explaining the process along the way. He even helped me move a stuck fence gate. Highly recommend so far!

Blades of Grass did an excellent job. Kelly was extremely helpful and patient with me while making suggestions and helping me make decisions to design our backyard project. Jonah was the crew leader and was very courteous and considerate of our yard, our schedule and the placement of shrubs and trees. The only thing I would like to say is that we specifically talked about wanting a row of arborvitae’s for privacy. The trees are really small and won’t help us with any kind of privacy for MANY, MANY years to come. Quotes come in “gallons” which doesn’t help someone that isn’t familiar with how that equates to actual size. Even though I am sure it was on the quote somewhere. I do believe it was my assumption that they understood our goals and I didn’t do my due diligence to ensure the trees were going to be big enough. I am a lay person that hired professionals to guide me. This is just a heads up to someone else that may not understand, as we didn’t. I am giving them 5 stars because I loved working with this company. They were professional and responsive and did a wonderful job. We plan to use them in the future and look forward to working with them again.
