Not only will you get a professional, courteous person on the phone when you call, but they will actually listen. They responded to my house in Chelsea, AL on a pipe that busted over the weekend, which was, quite a ways from them, and they did so in a very short amount of time. They were not only a pleasure to work with, but they didn’t try to add on extra costs. I can’t recommend these guys high enough. 10/10 will use them again if the need arises.

Response from the owner

Matt we really appreciate the feedback. We look forward to working with you in the future!

Absolutely greatest plumbing business I've ever encountered. Friendly, fairly priced and timely. Family owned and personable. Dustin was our plumber and did a phenomenal job and very friendly. Ill be calling them for any future needs and be recommending them to my all my friends and family. Check them out and call them first

Came out and replaced the drain for my kitchen sink that would drain as long as there was no suds! Cody, one of their Master Plumbers was excellent and has it draining like it should have all along! I felt we were given a good price for the work he had to do. Would recommend Allstar Plumbing in Eastaboga, AL!

This company did everything they said they would. Price was reasonable and they went above and beyond my expectations. Cody Fowler and Dustin were awesome to work with. I would highly recommend this company.

So many excellent reviews, I almost hate to do this…but even the best companies can sometimes yield bad experiences. On May 20, 2023, I called Allstar concerning my water heater. It had flooded and the burner was damaged in the process. Allstar was the only company I could find that didn’t charge an absurd weekend fee (which is an awesome thing, thank you for that! No, really, thank you). Every other company wanted $200 just to come out, but I digress. Allstar showed up, took a look and ordered a gas control valve and pilot assembly. The parts arrived on May 24 and Allstar installed the parts they ordered…and here’s where the one-star comes in…the parts did not fix the problem AND I was charged $300 for the job. I was told, at several points, that it would be best to completely replace the unit. I was even prompted to apply for financing when I explained that wasn’t a viable option for me. Dissatisfied, frustrated, and distract, my Dad told me one of my cousins was a plumber (which I’d known that sooner)…and they diagnosed fixed the problem for a quarter of the price. Long story short: Allstar replaced the wrong parts and charged me in full for it, knowing the problem wasn’t fixed.

Response from the owner

We are sorry for the experience you had, however as you stated in your review we reccomended that the only way we could guarantee a fix for the issue is to replace the unit. The un8t was flooded because it is installed in a location it should have never been installed in. The gas control valve had been submerged and therefore had to be replaced. After it did not fix the issue you were again advised that the unit would need to be replace in order to guarantee it would be fixed on the second try. You declined. Also the gas control valve was and Thermopolis we replace cost $279 dollars. We did not charge you for the time only the parts you chose to replace because you wanted to repair a heater that had been flooded. Other companies told you 200 just to show up. We do not deserve a one star. When your cousin came out the gas valve had already been replaced and you cousin replaced the burner assembly I'm sure. The only part left to replace. After the gas valve didn't work I didn't want to keep charging you for parts I could not guarantee to work so we didn't even offer the option.

All-Star was the only local plumber who responded to my call in a timely fashion. Not only were they out the same day to give me an estimate, they were continually in communication and always transparent about prices and the work to be done. Professional and knowledgeable. Prices were up front and fair. I’ll recommend All-Star to anyone and won’t hesitate to call them in the future as well.

Response from the owner

Thank you Mr. solhjem, it was a pleasure working with you and your wife. Thank you for the positive words. We look forward to a long business relationship in the future.

Nice guys with the estimate. Made sense in their explanation. We had had several companies come by. Set a date. Called several times the morning of the appointment. Finally got a call back from the tech around 10. Said he couldn’t get to it that day, too busy. Hopefully the next week. Called someone else. Came that day. Installed both new gas lines and regulators. Nice , clean, professional and $350 less expensive. I should point out that I cannot judge the quality of their work. All other reviews indicate they are good at what they do. Their inability to not show without notice was the cause for my low review. We had family plans related to their work.

Response from the owner

We regret that we could not get to you last week on Thursday, the day you scheduled for, and that you elected to go with another company. That day all of our plumbers except for the one assigned to do the work at your home already had very time sensitive, pressing, all day jobs that were presceduled to get started on early in the morning. Although the plumber assigned to you was called out to an emergency job early that morning we still had every intention of having him still come out to install your regulators and the extra line for your home as planned for that day. It wasnt until the morning started to progress forward in time that he realized he would not be able to get to you as planned due to him still diligently working to restore water at an elderly lady's home where she called very early that morning and said she had been without water since the day before so we had him rush right over. It was around mid morning at the time that he realized he wouldn't be able to make it to you as planned and we had to make the decision to attempt to reschedule with you since her emergency took presidence. Each and every customer and each job is truly important to us, we care greatly about the work that we do, our customers and how we serve them. We take pride in striving daily for complete satisfaction with every customer so we are very sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. Sometimes there are circumstances and emergency situations that arise out of our control to where we may not be able to stick to our schedule as planned. Normally in a situation like that we would have just had one of our other plumbers come out that day in his place but each of them on that specific day were already on very pressing jobs that would take all day. That was a rare occasion but again sometimes there are circumstances that arise out of control to where true emergencies take presidence. Under these circumstances I do not think a two star review is warranted in this situation considering we gave you a free estimate, you called us back a couple weeks later after getting multiple other estimates from other companies to schedule a day for us to do the work at your home and we were unfortunately not able to get to it that day due to the circumstances listed above so we attempted to reschedule. The attempt was denied which resulted in us not performing any work at your residence. Again, we are so sorry if you were inconvenienced, we would love to speak with you more about this matter.
