I run a rental company in Delta. Robert rented some equipment from us and broke a piece of equipment, left both pieces of equipment covered in mud and did not fuel them up. only paid for half the damages and wont answer or return phone calls. This has been since November. In response to the owners reply, we do not charge a damage deposit so he did not pay for one. The $1300.00 dollars was not for just the track, it the total bill for the track, fuel, cleaning and labor.

We paid a 10 percent damage waiver, paid for the fuel and cleaning charge. You were beyond rude from the gate. Moreover, I feel that over 1300.00 for a track is obnoxious. The machine wasnt abused at all, actually it was one of the worst pieces of equipment I've ever operated. The metal cords in the track were rusted. According to the rental company they rusted in 6 hours. The final kicker is that the job was for the widow of a retired navy man, I did the labor for free, and paid the shortfall in equipment rent. As well as the 650.00 for the track. I'd be leery of renting from Mesa Rentals , after all I did pay a damage waiver, all of the time the machines were out. Cleaning charge, and fuel. I feel like they needed a track and thought I was a great candidate to foot the bill. Then there's the outright threats made by the gentleman. You decide.
