I recently had Equinox replace the roof on a commercial building that I own. The entire experience was nothing less than pleasurable and that is saying a lot about replacing a roof. My project manager Doron, was outstanding. He kept me informed throughout the duration of the work and made certain that all of the details were addressed. I own several properties and I will use Equinox for all of my roofing needs.

So this was my first major home project and I probably went a little too crazy getting estimates from like 6+ roofing companies. Really had no idea how any of this works. I had been told by others that there could be a wide range of the quotes, but that wasn’t my experience at all. At least whatever the market was at this point in time (Spring 2024), everyone’s bid was essentially comparable. You end up having to make a decision based on all the other factors. This pretty much immediately led me to go with Equinox and I’m very glad I did. And from my perspective at least, that was pretty much down to who I worked with — Doron (the project manager?). From the first time he showed up to take a look at my old roof, he seemed to stand out from most of the other guys who come out and gave me a good feeling. He always showed up when he said he would and on time. He had no high pressure sales vibe (though clearly was interested in my business). Everything from cost breakdown, options, and scheduling felt very natural and comfortable. Once they started the project his communication was clear and patient. Even now a month after it’s done you can really tell that he feels ownership of the job and cares about things being done right and people being satisfied. Like I said, at least from my limited experience “shopping around”, that’s really what differentiates these companies— the reliability, the reputation, and the communication. The roof looks great but honestly they all do LOL. It’s not that exciting of a project (unlike a fancy new kitchen or something) but it feels good to have peace of mind. I’m just glad that it went smoothly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Doron and Equinox Roofing to friends and neighbors.

Additionally, my roof is super steep and tricky, but the team handled the project expertly. The workers were prompt, quick, and efficient. I am very satisfied with the final result. Everything looks great, and I’m comforted by the warranty provided. The most important thing for me, though, was the friendly and caring service. I really felt comfortable during the whole process, which means so much because of how overwhelming the project felt at the start. I know I’ll be recommending Equinox Roofing to any family and friends I know who might be looking to get work done on their roofs.

Doron and the Equinox crew had their work cut out for them removing the old foam roof. The demolition was thorough and the installation of the new TPO system was worth the cost and time. Equinox did a great job and Doron facilitated the experience in a professional and positive manner. Overall a really great job!

Don with Equinox did an amazing job through this process and his team was excellent in getting it done safe and fast. I reached out to atleast 6 different companies for quotes. Don was the best at explaining the process, permits and all the energy efficient options. The roofing material Equinox uses is by Corning and in my opinion was far better quality than the other local companies. The replacement cost was perfect for my budget and we were able to get the job done without any surprises. I'm very pleased with the finished roof and ready for this rainy season! My roof had several leaks due to recent storms. Ben and his team did a great job and the customer service was second to none. Ben spent a great deal of time with me so I could understand the issues and potential solutions. He was then in constant communication regarding scheduling and specific updates to the roof. I contacted 3 roofing companies to provide quotes for a full roof replacement of my 23 year+ roof. All came in at about the same price. I selected Equinox because Ben was significantly more thorough in his inspection of my home. What this meant was the quote he provided accurately reflected what actually needed to be done. There were no surprises. The other companies would have either had to add on cost at the end of the project or would have done subpar work.
