I have been working with Star waterproofing for around 5 years now. I have nothing bad to say about these guys. The service that they give is 110%. You can definitely rely on them. I have been using Star Waterproofing & Roofing for over 5 years now for all my waterproofing and roofing needs. Gelber has the expertise for finding difficult leaks. Star Waterproofing and Roofing has been able to address my many leak issues that have affected my buildings in a quick and timely manner. Their reports are very descriptive. It tells you what they found and how to fix the problem at a very competitive cost. I also have used them to do work on the roof at my home. I am very pleased with the quality of work that is always performed. I will be calling them again when the next issue arises.

Their housepainters over sprayed my car & caused $1150 worth of damage. Gilbert admitted they were liable but refused to pay and has been dodging my insurance company. The painters also used a gas power washer in the garage when they were working and gassed the whole building. The carbon monoxide alarms went off & thankfully people were there to open the doors and make sure the pets were safe. These people are as shady as it gets.

Gelber of Star Waterproofing came to evaluate my leaking balcony and was the only contractor who diagnosed the problem. He gave me a detailed quotation to fix the problems. He also noticed a problem with my roof and gave me another proposal to upgrade the ridge tiles and add more roof vents. His team did exceptional work on the roof problem and completed the work in one day. They were very efficient and cleaned up perfectly after. For the balcony we discovered a problem with a main beam where it had rotted from the leak. His team resolved the problem by removing the rot and splicing in a new support beam. This was done fairly on a T&M basis. After the work was completed I did get his team back to do a neater job on the finished painting etc. Gelber cooperated with no fuss. I would thoroughly recommend Sta Waterproofing for any balcony and roof work.

Gelber and team are great. I've used them for a number of multi-family roof projects and they always come through. Great post completion customer service as well.
