If I could put negative stars I would based on my recent experience with Provision Home, the local Vector Security contractor. Due to rising prices and equipment that doesn’t work correctly, I tried to cancel my security services. I spoke with corporate Vector before looking into all options and was told that I could cancel, but I needed to contact my local representative, Noel Pittman, for the cancellation form. I did contact Mr Pittman and once I explained that I wanted to cancel he became very defensive and rude. Under the guise of helping me out, he informed me that my contract had just auto renewed (without any warning to be able to make changes, so being a client for 4 years at this point I was unaware of the date) and because of this I’d be sent a bill for the remaining 11 months that would be due! I called Vector Corporate and eventually spoke with the same representative, Jasmine, who was nice but told me that Mr Pittman made all of the decisions regarding contracts including being charged the remainder of the contract, so it was under the power of a rude independent contractor to charge me or not; he’s going to charge anyone probably even his own family! Please be aware before you sign up with this that you will be locked in indefinitely unless you keep up with the date you originally signed a two year contract, years before! Even insurance companies offer open enrollments or give you notice to opt out before they auto-enroll into another contract!

I have been a customer with Vector Security for many years, but with our most recent move, our account was being handled by Provision Home. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a company. Specifically speaking to the president of the company- Noel Pittman. I have cancelled my contract and refuse to do any further business with them.

I tried to cancel my Vector Security after I sold my home. I called Vector, but they said my alarm was set up by Provision Home and I had to talk to Provision Home to cancel. They put my through, but the call died. I called back and got Provision’s number in Birmingham and called directly. A phone system (not person) answered. I selected the option to cancel service. It routed me back to Vector who said they couldn’t cancel and I had to talk to Provision. Called them back and tried a different option; routed back to the same customer service rep at Vector who again said she couldn’t cancel our account. Called Provision back and selected a different option (for Sales, I think) and it again sent me to Vector who again said they couldn’t help me. I’ve since left the third message in over 24 hours and they have yet to call me back. I hate these people.

CANCELING SERVICE IS ALL MOST IMPOSSIBLE. VECTOR DO NOT WANT TO LET YOU OUT OF YOUR CONTRACT WITH THEM, UNLESS YOU PAY EVERYTHING YOU GOT.

A great group of people. Knowledgeable and extremely customer focused. We were shown options and guided through the decision making process. The system was installed and working the next day. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough.

Brent was so helpful with everything! He was very nice and answered all of my questions. I live on my phone so I’m happy to have cameras I can access while at work. I’m very excited for this security system.

I am absolutely 100% pleased with the genuine interest in my family safety that Brent has exhibited! Vector Security’s team knows their stuff! And unlike the 2 competitors (whose names both begin with A) the Vector team does not fluff or pad the price because the family’s safety is their #1 priority! Great Service! Great Price! I trust these guys 😊
