Security One: Los Angeles Home Security Alarm Systems

I was referred to Security one by two tax clients on a Sunday afternoon. After a few texts with Claudio we had an apt for a Monday morning installation at 7am. His man Sergio was on time, professional and patient. The alarm and camera were installed timely. Sergio could not be anymore patient with me while explaining how to use the system both on my computer and my iPhone. The system is really user friendly and I feel confident that we are in good hands with Security one. You cannot go wrong using them.

I had another security company and switched to Security One. The sales rep I dealt with was very helpful and not pushy. The technician came out and did an excellent job. They never raise their rates and have been nothing short of amazing.

We used Security cam crew for cameras at our business. They did a great job. We had an issue with connectivity when we switched to a new isp. Tyler came and fixed the problem very quickly. We plan to use them for our other stores and home.

On February 1st, I was contacted by Claudio Hand (later to find out, this is the owner & president of sales) regarding a quote request. After playing phone tag for a few days, we resorted to email correspondence. My company is seeking very specific security needs. I explained this to Claudio in detail. His email response offered no assistance, but rather questioned my companies motives. When I explained further, he boldly stated using all capitol letters that he nor any other company would be willing to meet these specifics, followed by gloating how he'd been in the business over 20 years. I replied with understanding, informing him that Security One will not meet our needs & thanked him for his time. Claudio replied very aggressively, calling me out by my name multiple times in a short email. He again threw his 20 years in business at me & blatantly told me what I want is impossible. I replied calling him out on his unprofessional tone & asked him to please not contact me again unless it was to offer a quote for what was requested. 1 minute after sending my last email, Claudio Hand replied stating that I'm just frustrated that he won't give me what I want. As the owner of this company, I find his behavior petty & childish. He doesn't seem to have any level of respect for those seeking his services as well. Security One International Inc claims on their website that they are BBB Accredited, however, as you can plainly see directly on the BBB Website, this information is false. It leads me to believe that they are advertising many more falsities & certainly cannot be trusted. For an owner to be so ill-mannered & disrespectful is atrocious. I believe everyone should understand the type of man who owns this company. You deserve to know exactly what you're getting if you choose Security One.

This company has the worst customer service! I never felt safe with this company. Their equipment worked for two months before breaking and not working at all! For all of December I tried to get them out to fix their faulty equipment but was met with the biggest joke for customer service. The day someone supposed to come out at 11 I called and was told they won't be there for another 4 hours, when I told the person this is not what I was told by a supervisor and I can't be here 4 hours later he hung up on me. When I called back on got the same person I asked him to give my number to his supervisor and he yelled and told me it wouldn't matter if I told his supervisor about him and I never did heard from the supervisor. I have been told to call people and when I do they never pick up and never call back! There is no communication between any departments and you will get transferred more times with them than you think possible, seriously I was on the phone for two hours bouncing around and still didn't get my problem solved. The equipment looks nice but has several problems, my main problem is the app. When I armed the system using the app it would say that it was arming for away but when I checked it was always armed to stay, which means motion sensors are off. They didn't even connect all of my windows to the system! Guess what when I called about that they never got back to me! go figure. Do not buy this because of how cheap it is, will be buying crap to protect your house.

My husband and I didn't like the security company we used in our old home, so this time around it was really important that we find a company that is honest, and delivers what they promise. I did a ton of research on different local and larger companies, and Security One was my top choice. When we met with them, I knew right away that they would be the best company based upon the professionalism of their customer service and their presentation. We were pleased that our rates would be low (and are locked in) and when installation day came, everything went well. The technician was super professional and knew the equipment well and took his time making sure everything was just right. Ultimately, we're really pleased with the equipment; it is really top of the line and better than what we used in our last home. The customer service has been great too.

I love Security One! They are a great company. I have my business and home security systems by Security One! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a excellent security system. They are there for you when you need them. That makes me feel confident and safe. Thank you Security One!

I have had Security One as my alarm provider for over 4 years now and the service has been great. every time i have had a question in regards to how my system operates the customer service agents have been very helpful and always knowledgeable of their systems. I highly recommend to anyone!
