They have been great, easy to work with and got us set up and running. Jim came out today went through the system. Explain every thing to us and when he ran into sometime that didn't seem right he spend the time you make sure to figure it out and explain what was going on.

Carl and Kevin gave me great recommendations and I checked everything out. I compared pricing on line and found the pricing at RES to be really competitive but much more convenient. I purchased a 400 watt system for my Wolf Creek truck camper and it took me only about 3.5 hours to install. I called for advice several times and every time I was helped in a friendly, professional manner. Hats of to RES.

Very poor follow-up service. They provided an inverter that had the incorrect firmware. This caused power surges and killed some of my electronic devices. They will not advise on settings without charging me. Spent over $7k with them. No long term investment in their customers. Caution.

Joshua, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are frustrated with our technical support policy. You purchased a replacement inverter from us, that you installed. Although we did not install your product, we stayed late the day you came in to assist with your problem, we provided technical support during a number of phone calls at no-charge to you to help address factory installed firmware, and offered further support from the manufacturer. Our technical support department is still available to you should you change your mind or wish to have one of our certified electricians review your installation. We have to charge for these services at this point as we have given several hours of support at no-charge to you and we can not continue to offer these services at no-charge. I called RES over Christmas break. I was at a remote/off grid cabin and my generator failed with temps reaching -32F. The Solar system I purchased from RES was working perfectly. But my back-up generator was not powering the cabin. I called KEVIN at RES. He spent nearly 40 minutes on the phone with me troubleshooting my issues. Kevin was patient and knowledgeable and got my system up and running. Customer service like this is hard to find! I will not buy any solar anywhere other than from RES. Kevin has my repeat business.

All the staff at RES Anchorage have been extremely helpful over several years of purchasing gear and hiring them for rural call-out jobs. They helped us select the correct equipment for our system and provided lots of tech support through the DIY jobs. Karl was even willing to help after business hours while I was troubleshooting in the dark. I feel like they genuinely want your off grid power system to work well, not just sell you the most expensive equipment. Thanks RES.

I had bought a used solar off grid system from a neighbor but it wasn't complete. I informed them what I had and they told me what I would need to make it work and gave me more than one option. I was only sold what I needed and the price was right. It didn't end there. Once I had everything hooked up, they helped me fine tune the system for the best performance. Any issues I had were resolved very quickly. I'm a very happy customer who will continue to do business with RES for many years to come. Thank you!

We recently had Renewable Systems Energy install solar panels. From initial ordering to installation and follow up our experience was great. The crew was very professional, friendly and hard workers. We were advised that the utility company may take a coupe of weeks to come out and exchange the meter and this is exactly what happened. We now can watch our energy production knowing we are saving money.
