RayWell Solar

Had Solar installed by RayWell solar in 2018. Over the past few years many of our panels are failing. They do not answer our calls or emails. As per our contract we have a warranty with them. We are looking into legal options.

We worked with Raywell a few years ago and were initially happy with our solar installation, which included a battery backup. The system worked well after installation, but we have had increasing numbers of panels fail and have not received any response from Raywell, despite numerous phone calls and e-mails for assistance. Prior to the event referenced below, 14 of our 50 panels were currently not functioning. Most recently (about a week and a half ago), we had an electrical fire that we have been told resulted from faulty wiring and lack of appropriate protections (breakers, etc.) when the solar system was installed. We are having to spend several thousand dollars to repair the damage and restore our system to full function, and are seeking legal counsel on a further course of action because Raywell will not return any of our attempts to seek assistance from them. I strongly recommend against working with Raywell Solar.

Kasey Harwell did a fantastic job with our solar. We compared a couple of different companies and Raywell stood out by a mile. Kasey's quote optimized placement and number of the panels while providing in depth information on function, cost, rebates, etc. Their competitor had haphazard placements, recommended more panels than necessary to offset our costs and generally seemed unorganized in comparison. I realize the quote is only one piece, but I can confirm Kasey delivered in installation, follow through and project management as well. We're very happy with Raywell's work and would highly recommend them.

Kasey Harwell, the owner of Raywell Solar. was terrific from the beginning of this project to the end. Kasey never left us hanging or with unanswered questions, and handled all of the required permits and inspections. We wanted our roof replaced because it was almost ten years old and we didn’t want to have to de-install/reinstall the solar panels in a few more years. Raywell Solar replaced our entire roof and did an outstanding job. The following day the solar install started and finished. We had twenty-one solar panels installed on the rear of the house. All of this work – the roof and the solar panels was done with the temperature in the high 90s every day, and these men worked from morning until dark. They knew precisely what to do. After another inspection the electrician installed the wiring and connecting devices. The inspector from the city said the attic wiring was one of the most professional installations he’d ever seen. After final inspections Dominion Energy installed two new meters and hooked us up to the grid – now we’re solar powered! Kasey Harwell came over the next day and connected the solar system to our wi-fi and now I can check it from any of our computers or phones. This entire process went very smoothly and quickly thanks to the City of Charleston, Dominion Energy, and most all because of the dedication of Raywell Solar. It was like ballet only better.

RayWell Solar came to my rescue when my panels had a sudden drop in production. My original company stopped servicing SC, so I had to find a new solar power provider. Cayce and the RayWell team were knowledgeable, friendly, and found the problem right away - fixed it on the spot and even helped make sure my monitoring system was up to date. I highly recommend RayWell Solar!! Will definitely call them again!!

Had been on the fence about installing solar and looked at a few options before contacting RayWell. Kasey answered my questions and earned my trust and my business. The process was consistent with my expectations. I am very happy with the purchase and glad I went with RayWell.

I compared three different companies pricing for Solar Panels on my house. (I called more but only three provided detailed proposals). RayWell was the best deal but more importantly they were the easiest to work with. Kasey could not of been more forthright and easier to work with. His proposal was straightforward, clear and concise. I also like that he is panel agnostic and not tied to one specific manufacturer. I ended up choosing the panels he recommended but it was great knowing I could have chosen any panel available. His installation team was very professional and did a fantastic job. They cleaned up thoroughly and were extremely polite and considerate while working. Through no fault of the installers or Kasey I had an issue getting the Town Inspector out to inspect the system after install. His team was fantastic in resolving the issue. I also like the fact that RayWell Solar is a local company. I could not have been happier and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering Solar Power.

Great company to work with. We just had a solar system installed by RayWell. Great communication through the entire process. Quality of the install was top notch. Follow up was super. We are extremely happy with the system. I highly recommend RayWell to anyone considering solar.
