First let me start by saying that if there was an option to give less than 1 star I would. I had my panels installed almost a year ago, 07/07/23, to be exact. I have been waiting for almost a year and paying over $400 in utilities monthly (about half from the local electric company and the other half from the decorative solar panels). At this point, I am unclear what I am paying for other than the new roof that was installed. The panels are generating power but this power is not going to my home, yet, I am paying for something that looks nice on the roof? Please help me understand that. I have been waiting to see when the electric bill would lessen from the power company but it has remained as high as it was prior to the solar panels being installed. I contacted Freedom Forever at the beginning of last week by email and their canned response was that they were sorry for my inconvenience and that their system was designed to generate power when the sun is shining and recommended that I not use energy-consuming appliances during daytime hours. They did acknowledge that they show that the system is generating solar power and that there were no detected alerts on the system from their end. But there was nothing stated to address why I am still paying the same amount for the electric bill from the power company that I was for this "solar" service that the sales rep assured me would go down or go away once the panels were in place. Since I had not heard anything back from them, I sent another email on Friday asking for a response by Monday EOB. The email I received this morning sent me through the roof. The same non-native English person responded with a similar version of the canned response I received early in the week but with a modified note now saying that since we are approaching the one year anniversary of the install date of 07/07/2024 that we should wait until August (paying over $400/month in utility bills) so that they can have a full year of information to determine if there is a problem with their system and then after their analysis that they would issue any reimbursements due. What kind of response is that? Who pays for a service that they have not received for one day let alone one year? Please make this make sense. In legal terms, this is either fraud or a ponzi scheme when you claim something that produces a different result. If you ever have someone from this company call or email you, immediately call law enforcement and report them!!
