First let me start by saying that if there was an option to give less than 1 star I would. I had my panels installed almost a year ago, 07/07/23, to be exact. I have been waiting for almost a year and paying over $400 in utilities monthly (about half from the local electric company and the other half from the decorative solar panels). At this point, I am unclear what I am paying for other than the new roof that was installed. The panels are generating power but this power is not going to my home, yet, I am paying for something that looks nice on the roof? Please help me understand that. I have been waiting to see when the electric bill would lessen from the power company but it has remained as high as it was prior to the solar panels being installed. I contacted Freedom Forever at the beginning of last week by email and their canned response was that they were sorry for my inconvenience and that their system was designed to generate power when the sun is shining and recommended that I not use energy-consuming appliances during daytime hours. They did acknowledge that they show that the system is generating solar power and that there were no detected alerts on the system from their end. But there was nothing stated to address why I am still paying the same amount for the electric bill from the power company that I was for this "solar" service that the sales rep assured me would go down or go away once the panels were in place. Since I had not heard anything back from them, I sent another email on Friday asking for a response by Monday EOB. The email I received this morning sent me through the roof. The same non-native English person responded with a similar version of the canned response I received early in the week but with a modified note now saying that since we are approaching the one year anniversary of the install date of 07/07/2024 that we should wait until August (paying over $400/month in utility bills) so that they can have a full year of information to determine if there is a problem with their system and then after their analysis that they would issue any reimbursements due. What kind of response is that? Who pays for a service that they have not received for one day let alone one year? Please make this make sense. In legal terms, this is either fraud or a ponzi scheme when you claim something that produces a different result. If you ever have someone from this company call or email you, immediately call law enforcement and report them!!

I cancelled a project in January 2023 because the sales rep could not provide me with a breakdown of the costs. However, in January 2024, Solar Mosaic, their lending partner, started servicing the loan - Freedom Forever took the loan proceeds anyway, and Solar Mosaic refuses to release me from the debt, because Freedom Forever has not sent them a cancellation of the project. I learned today that FF denied the cancellation. As far as I can tell, FF took the money, refuses to pay it back, and Solar Mosaic is holding me responsible for the debt. Completely unaccountable and disastrous customer service. There are st least five similar complaints in the reviews. Do not work with this company. UPDATE: For the first time ever, a Freedom Forever rep called me today, only because I posted a Google review. They just let me know the exact same thing I've heard for the past 3 months. I'm seeing numerous cases exactly like mine. Using customers to finance their company is clearly their business model. I told the rep not to call me unless they're confirming the loan has been cancelled with Solar Mosiac.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! I do not understand why the cancellation process is such a hassle?!?! We decided not to go through with the project and cancelled LAST YEAR. Maybe our sales rep (Roosevelt) dropped the ball on sending the cancellation in, who knows. What I do know..... WE DID NOT GET SOLAR PANELS INSTALLED, NOR DID WE RECEIVE ANY FUNDS TO DO SO. There was absolutely no work done, but I have a lien on my property and no one can explain why it's there or how long "underwriting" will take to verify the cancellation. I also do not understand how I can call into the customer service department only to get conflicting answers as to what the process is to get a resolution. After speaking with Malcolm on 2/29 and Oscar and Lorena (supervisor) yesterday 3/13 and I still can't get any assistance on getting this lien off of our property. For some odd reason, NO ONE that I can speak to in customer service has ANY POSSIBLE way to contact the financial department to help get this situation rectified. Basically, "trust that we'll get it done, maybe, at some point, because we've been so trustworthy up to this point". None of this makes any sense to me...the lack of communication, the process, or the difficulty in getting this handled. Freedom saying the project is cancelled, but our underwriting department doesn't know it yet is CRAZY to me. Lorena was very adamant about making sure that no one else (Mosaic) would hear her say that the project was cancelled. The situation comes off as RETALIATION for canceling the project. How can I have a lien on my property without owing any money and not having any solar panels installed??? By definition of what a lien is for, there should not be one on my property from this company. I wonder if the BBB would agree with what seems like retaliation. Judging from the reviews...it seems as if the ONLY people that have problems with this company are the ones trying to cancel. IT SHOULD NOT BE THIS DIFFICULT........

May 2023 I canceled my contract before they started any installation. I have recently found out there's still a lien on my home although we never had any panels installed. I have been trying to get this taken care of for 3 weeks! My case has been "escalated" and I still haven't gotten a resolution. Mosaic said they received a denial of my cancellation!!! This is absolutely ridiculous! No one can get in touch with their underwriters to assist in helping me. Stay far away from this company!

Very unethical company. Avoid at all costs! I have been dealing with them for almost 2 years now, yes 2 YEARS, with the cancellation of a project that should not have passed the evaluation phase. They have taken funds from their lending partner Mosaic knowing that the project was discontinued and is now deliberating on the promise of an 'escalated cancellation'. I have been calling them WEEKLY since the start of the year, with no update. They do not care that my credit is being affected by this nonsense.

Southern installers did a fantastic job installing the Tesla Powerwall and additional panels. It was scheduled for a two day install but the crew did it all in one day. I couldn’t ask for more. Highly knowledgeable and professional!

I want to say a big “thank you” to the installation team at Freedom Forever. They have been very professional, patient, helpful and extremely courteous. I was a little nervous on how the installation would look aesthetically on the outside of the house with all those cables and pipes, but I’m very pleased with their work and the fact that the installation does not look ugly or sloppy. A big shout out to Dominque and Brenton for being patient with my questions. My overall experience with Freedom has been very good. Thanks much!
