8 months and counting since I signed my contract. Still waiting for these clowns to get their act together. They have screwed up every step of the project, have tired to cut corners, refuse to communicate. Stay away! will update status if they decide to do their job.

For reference I emailed them this and 3 days later with no response from anyone. This is the one and only reason I am now posting to Google because clearly they do not care. My escrow closed 4/1. Today is 4/4. Yesterday afternoon I had cleaners over at my home to give me a quote when I heard a super loud couple bangs on the side of my house (manufactured home) toward my back door. I came to the back door and one of your salesman, Lee, was standing at my gate. He immediately went into his sales pitch and asked if I was the homeowner, I responded yes. He seemed shocked that I was the owner as I am a younger female, so not off to a good start. I explained I was with cleaners who were inside my home and didn’t have time to talk right then if he could give me his business card I’d give him a call or text. He INSISTED I set an appointment right then and there instead of giving me his card. At this point I was extremely annoyed, offended and wanted him to leave. I am a young single mom and feel that you guys showing up TWO DAYS after escrow closing is absolutely insane. I get it, you have to make money but that’s ridiculous. I have been in sales for over 15 years between wireless, insurance and dealership. I was SO put off by this man that I will never go to you guys. Even if I was considering solar. Please understand and maybe have a conversation with him and explain that banging on the side of someone’s home, being aggressive and pushy is NOT the way to sell your product.

Update. Consumer beware! So after installation in Aug 2023. things seemed to be working ok. But then we noticed the system was not hardly producing power even with full sun days. So we contacted our salesperson Stewart with independent solar and he assured he would get this taken care of for us. This all started Dec. 2023. he called me back and stated they would be contacting me to go over my system production. So a Ryan called me around the 2nd week of Dec. 23. This Ryan had the gall to tell me that we should not use power in the evening to offset the power consumption. So I explained to him we purchased 40 400 watt panels and when you do the math my system with 5 hours of sunlight should be producing approximately 80 kwh per day of which we have been producing around 30-40 kwh per day. also when the system was installed the mounted 8 panels on my roof of which I questioned do to the fact the are facing do north instead of south. They could have sold me 6 less panels and put 2 panels on my roof facing south and produced the same amount of power as the 8 total produce. So I contacted my salesman again and explained how this Ryan insulted my intelligence and something need to be checked on my system. could be loose connections do to electrical power vibrates and if the lugs were not tightened correctly of which could be causing a problem, or the invertor could not be functioning correctly. So Stewart assured me he spoke with the owner and Cole head of the engineering and that Cole would be reaching out to me to come inspect my system and that they would be adding extra panels to my roof to produce what I was losing with those 8 panels that are facing due North. Here it is the end of Feb 2024 and still no contact from this Cole from Havasu solar. I've talked with Stewart several times and he says he doesn't understand why no one has contacted me. He again assured me that someone would contact me ASAP, of which still have not heard anything. So if myself or anyone else has a problem with there system Havasu solar is not going to help. So this was a $75k mistake and will not recommend Havasu solar to anyone. My power bill with UES was cheaper then my solar payment plus I still have an electric bill, So buyer beware. The installation team was fantastic, they arrived on time. Continued to work until the job was completed. Work was very clean and neat. Rob Pounder service tech has been very helpful and responsive.

Great company did all the paperwork, installation and past city inspection on first try, UniSource installed meter and told us Havasu Solar was one of the best. Excellent work on time and priced right.

Everything was good except there should be communication instead of the installer drilling big hole in the wall to run wires for main electrical box, told the company that I would have everything out of the way to be able to get to the box inside the garage before installers got here. Rob is a great person that got the system up and running. The installation people were very good except for that wall thing. If someone tells this company that they can get to the box inside the building let the installation people know don’t trust the people before them to let them know.

The true measure of a contractor or service provider is one who clearly says what they are going to do, then does what they said they would do and done when they said it would be done. Once we decided to install solar, I sent an email to Havasu Solar rep. Dallas. He appeared in our driveway in just a few minutes, was knowledgeable and returned with a detailed quote the same day. I have quite a bit of experience with solar systems already so our meetings were brief and away we went. When the install time came, I got an advance call to see if their date and time was acceptable. They arrived early exactly when they said and installed the entire system in one day during a period of unusually intense heat. Even working in those conditions, all were friendly, polite, neat, and very hard working guys. Nick did the electrical work, was a work of art and very professional even in scorching heat. A good experience, I would not hesitate to use or recommend Havasu Solar again.

I hired Randy T French and Havasu Solar to install a 9kw grid tie solar field to power my house and shop. I have had bad luck with inept local contractors in the past, but when I talked to this guy he actually seemed to know what he was talking about. He installed more panels than the inverter required so that the inverter "wakes up" early and "go to bed late". This allows the inverter to harvest more "sun power". His crews that do the installation are on the ball and know what they are doing. I'm very impressed by the quality of the work, it is as good as I can do!! Ok, perhaps a little better because they won't have to do it twice.... The other thing is this, I designed the system in 2010 and he has caught 2 mistakes that I would have made. Randy is building exactly what I wanted, without any arguments .... except he is using the new hybrid micro inverter/ central inverter tech made by Solar Edge, which after studying it out, is far better than the old style stuff. It is a capacitor based inverter rather than using a transformer, which means higher efficiency and more power production with less noise! I can view my power production from any laptop or phone and there is no monthly charge for this feature.
