Olson Solar Energy

Once they received the second payment which took it over 80% of total they seemed to not care how long it takes to get the final hookup to the utility. Everything has been completed including a few fixes that the city electrical inspector ask to be completed. It's now approaching a month and I still do not have a date to get hooked up to the utility.

Olson was the only solar company that really listened to us and our solar needs. The other two we considered were recommending a build out to meet our current solar needs ONLY, even after we mentioned the possibility of purchasing an electric vehicle; which we purchased before the installation of the panels was completed. Olson exceeded our expectations, the process was very simple. Mike (sales), Alissa (project manager) and Emily (customer service) all were amazing. Thank you!!

This is one of those rare companies that really do exactly what they say they will do for their customer. The over all experience my wife and I had with the solar panel install was great. From the start with the sales rep coming out to our home to answer our many, many questions and actually listening to those questions and getting an understandable response, our project kicked off with a sense of getting a value added package to our home. It only went up from there with us being assigned and meeting with our project manager at our home we were given a single person whom we could deal with for any questions and scheduling of crews. We were given a time line to expect our project way points to happen and it was exceptionally accurate. The crews and people we dealt with were courteous, friendly and respectful of our home and property. I have been non stop talking about Olson Solar since the install and expect to continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Thank you Alisa and everyone at Olson for the great experience!

We have had some ups and downs with our Olson Solar experience. We started working with them over a year ago and were impressed with their competitive quote and the positive experience of a family member who had them do his system. Since then we've had some ups and downs. Their installation schedule kept getting pushed back from beginning of September to finally getting the panels installed just before Christmas. Throughout this time they didn't reach out to inform me of the delays due to supply chain issues. I had to keep calling them to find out about the change of plans. After the panels were installed they still weren't functional for several weeks as we waited for electrical hook up. When they tried to connect the system to the grid they discovered it hadn't been wired correctly. We finally went live in late January. Since then we had a panel go bad and after weeks of complaining they replaced it completely and it was covered by our warranty. Their service department has been helpful when we have had issues and we have been happy with our system's production and the app where we can track our system. Hopefully we get all of the kinks worked out this year while we're still under warranty.

I am very satisfied with all the professional services Olson Solar Energy provided on my solar project as well as with the Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative who got the system activated promptly after finally receiving the delayed site inspection approval by Adams County. Olson Solar Energy did great work in installing our panels, and getting us through the entire process. There was consistent and detailed communication, we were well informed on the status of the project and what was next. Great job putting up our solar panels. It was a small job. Panels put up in less than a day. Electricians followed in less than a week. Shortly after that we were up and running.

Olson Solar Energy was very professional and did a really good job. There are occasionally unanticipated issues, and they were able to handle those that came up on my job with equanimity and good humor.
