We bought our expensive solar system 5 years ago. The sales experience went fine and we have been very happy with the solar. The problem came down the road when we went again dealt with this company. We knew at the time of purchase that our roof would be changed within 5 years. The salesman assured us that this uninstall/reinstall would be done free. Now we were being told that it would cost 5k. This made us really unhappy as well as being told that if we went with the cheaper priced competitor that it would void our whole warranty. At that point I gave this company a 1 star review. I am changing this review because after publishing my review I received a personal phone call from the company owner who talked to me at length answering my questions and concerns and being as helpful as he possibly could. I genuinely got the feeling that he was trying his best to be honest, upfront, helpful and to work with me. He deserves better stars for that effort. I knocked down one star simply because our original salesperson told us incorrect information that was not put into the contract. That personal attention from the owner to customer service was impressive and appreciated.

I had a mixed experience with this company. I received a quote from five companies before deciding to use All American Solar after deciding their products, price, and service where the best of the bunch. The sales and installation process went smoothly; they met expectations and delivered on their commitments. When I had issues with my system (twice in five years) post-install I did run into some problems. The sales rep that sold the system completely ignored us after installation, numerous phone calls and messages went unreturned. I called to ask if he was still employed there and they said he was. When I needed service for an inverter issue they said they no longer provide that service; for a system they installed. I have spoken to the owner and he committed their service after the sale has improved, I will update my review if they've improved their post-sale customer service.

I would like to take this opportunity to express how happy and grateful we are for finding All American Solar. We had an issue with 5 micro inverters that had stop working within 6 months of installation by another company. Due to the numerous issues with the original installer, we decided to find another company. At the suggestion of the manufacturer's website, this company was listed as one of their premier installers and I can see why. From the very start Amanda (service) was helpful and offered assistance to help us find a company that was local instead of having to wait for a technician to evaluate our system. She was open regarding any fees that we might incur. Our service technician "T-Bone" was such a professional and friendly person. He took the time to explain how our system works and what the problem with our system. We truly believe that if this company had been the company to sell and install our solar system from the very beginning, we wouldn't have had any issues at all. Now, we are team All American Solar, and highly recommend them for your solar needs.

I was able to connect with Brandon and AAC is going to review processes regarding support requests so they can be responded to timelier. He also assured both me and by husband that there was no need for maintenance check after Ian because all of our panels are performing as expected. Any items related to warranty will be provided as part of the normal service, however if we schedule a call outside of warranty work, we will incur the $650 trip due to our location. I am rating this as 3 stars because I feel it meets expectations.

Phillip and team were very professional from Day 1 in terms of explaining the solar project and its benefits, installation, going through questions, getting the permission to operate and providing after support. They were not too much pushing when it comes to marketing as you see with other solar sales guy and more geniune in their business. I highly recommend All American Solar for your Solar project as I got to know them through Co-Op program but they are worth it. They leverage pro grade materials which are industrial standards, installation was smooth from their in house team and all the back office work was completed on time. Great job keep it up.

So far everything looks great, system has not been turned on yet but it looks professionally installed and should be able to produce what we need. Kevin helped us get the system we were looking for with excellent customer service and made sure to keep in close contact along the way. Looking forward to seeing the system up and running!

We relied heavily on customer reviews in making the decision of a solar company. While the cost of the system was a factor, I was more influenced in my decision by actual customers’ experiences. This was a huge undertaking and financial investment, and we wanted a company we were confident would still be around years down the road and had a reputation for providing a quality product & service. We purchased 60 solar panels, a Pentair VS/VF pool pump, a Rheem Hybrid hot water heater, a Generac 22kW whole home generator, and a solar powered roof vent. My pool pump went out just after getting the financing arranged but before any work actually started. We knew it was dying which is why we were having a more energy efficient pump installed. I called AAS and they came out the next day and replaced the pump! Furthermore, the pump they quoted originally was not what I ended up wanting. I had been doing some research and found I wanted the Pentair VS/VF model. It was more expensive which I was fine with because it is a top quality pump. They got that pump for me and then didn’t charge me any more for it! I had a 120 gallon above ground propane tank to heat the pool/spa. But, a much larger tank was needed to run the Generac in case of an extended power outage. The original quote included burying a 500 gallon tank next to the Generac and Pool Heater. Later it turned out Code would not allow it to be buried at that spot. So Amerigas had to bury the 500 gallon tank on the opposite side of the house from the pool heater/Generac. This meant they had to run gas line through the attic from one side of the house to the other. This was an additional $800 from the original quote. Financing for the original quote was already secured so AAS stuck to their quote and ate that $800 without a word. Like any large project, there were some hiccups. County would not sign off inspection because of some minor issues with labeling and schematics. But it was resolved. There were some extended delays due waiting on Amerigas to install and hook up their part of the Generac project before the installation of the solar. There were some very aggravating issues with failure to communicate the reasons for delays and we actually sent a pretty harsh email. The owner responded by coming over and personally talking thru the issue. He took ownership of the problem and resolved it. I got a weekly call from that point every Friday with an update. They promised to make any payments on the loan for the project if the installation was not complete by the time payments were due. As mentioned we had some significant delays in completing the project. As promised, they reimbursed me for the first two payments. I was on the budget plan with Duke energy which was $390/month. I received my first Duke electric bill today which included an entire billing period with the solar generating power. It was $41.00. And that was for a July/August billing period which are some of the highest energy usage months. So the net cost of the loan is going to be zero. The reduction of the energy bill pays for the Solar. I recommend All American Solar. I would sign with them again if I had to do it all over. I know I have a quality product with the Enphase solar panels and a good company backing their service. Blake sat down with us at our dining room table at our first meeting and honestly explained everything. He mapped out the plan and how they calculate how many panels were needed. There was not one single thing presented to us during the “sales” part that was false or misleading in the end. I was thrilled with the first energy bill today. That was where the rubber hits the road so to speak as to whether this was actually all worth it. I don’t think you could do better than All American Solar!

My experience with All American Solar was amazing! We had our free energy audit with Brandon Bing (the co-owner of the company!). He sat down with us and showed us all things solar picked out a plan of action for us and made sure we had no questions and understood exactly what we were getting into. Then Ben with the financing side came out and it was so easy to deal with him and get our financing taken care. Then after quite a bit of rain postponed us from our install the two installers came out and were beyond amazing! They explained to us at every stage and every day they were out here what they were doing and what they hoped to get accomplished that day. And when the day was over they completely cleaned up their work space to where you wouldn't even have realized they had been there if not for the new Ground rack forming in our back yard. When the install was completed I had the most amazing experience of my adult life of watching my meter go backwards and for once the electric company was going to be paying me instead of the other way around. Overall the most shining experience I've ever had with my home! Easy and straight forward! You can't afford to not go with this company!
