Hi , I purchased Solar from Smart Green almost 10 months ago . They kept asking for Referrals that they would give Me 1,000 Dollars so finally 1 day my Contracter who built my house asked me about my New Solar System I told Joe Machado that the Rep Armol treated me well so he ask for the number so i gave him the Brochure!! Joe contacted Chris Schiavone & Joe told Chris that i Referred him & Chris stated to him all my Information including my Address and till today they Refuse to pay me the 1,000 dollars!! Im not in need of money its the Principle that Chris Lyed to Joe Machado and Never mentioned me Victor DaRosa gave the Lead thats Greed he should be Terminated….

Meghan has been amazing. Since starting our solar journey a year ago we have had one road block after another, but Meghan found ways and always helped get us over them and now we are finally at the finish line. I would highly recommend Smart Green Solar and Meghan for any of your solar needs!!

Quick to take your money and set up the panels for you, but never available for service or troubleshooting of the panels. I have never been able to get anyone in the service department on the phone. Panels stopped working within a year and I called multiple times for service. Sales department have me updates that they could see in the system, so the service department was getting my voicemails, taking notes, and never reaching out to me. I have a roof leak under one panel and have had the same experience with trying to reach the service department. It’s been a month and they haven’t returned any of my calls. The more actions show that they clearly only care about taking your loan money up front and then never actually servicing or honoring any warranty. Also the monthly payment that they say you will be paying increases significantly after a year.

Solar Green is a great RI energy company. Nothing but praise for the job they did for us. Our solar project turned out to be “as advertised “ in every way. Production and service is exactly as it was promised to us. We are completely satisfied. Talk to Joe Solar if you’re looking for a reliable assessment for your energy needs.

Kudos to Jamie, who called to review the first steps of the solar panel installation on our home. She was kind and personable, and knowledgeable on the steps of the entire process and received a quick answer from her staff on some of my questions. Jamie helped me understand and feel comfortable with the plans for the upcoming installation. We are looking forward to the work to be done by Smart Green Solar.

I have nothing short of terrific experience with Smart Green. So far, I saw their add on Facebook, I requested a free consult. They contacted me once and left a message. I called them back to setup a time for free consultation. Devan was the Rep who came over. Was very professionally, on-time, and to the point. Showed me what he had to offer with transparent pricing. They adjust my solar plan twice to fit my budget/needs. Then I worked with Hannah to go through the contract and financing. She is nothing short of excellent. I have nothing by AMAZING words to express. Always responsive, even to a call at 6pm on a Saturday while she was at work function. I found that my electric bill supply rate was going up by 52% per kWh in December. So I changed my plan to get to 103% offset. She showed me pictures, answered all my questions. Pricing was transparent and she went through all the documents with me. Also, discussed the 25-year warranty for parts and labor offered by the company that makes the panel which are one the best available. Devin came back for the site survey and now my panels are with production team. Install & activation should be within 60 day window and well as 1st solar payment. If you are not activated by the time your 1st solar payment is due, they will reimburse you for the solar payment every month until activated. Lastly, they have a production guarantee that if you are producing the power you were designed to produce, they will add more panels to reach that after 1 year at no extra cost. They take care of every aspect of the project from start to finish and they are local to New England. I will update my review as I experience the next phases. Thank you. UPDATE#1: So since signing the contract the team has been hard at work when necessary steps of the project. Devon came within 1 week to do my site assessment. My roof & panels passed inspection. I was informed however that I needed a moderate sized shrub moved to pass inspection & my landscaper was done for the season. Devon was able to get one of their landscapers to do it at no cost to me within 2 days. He came on Sunday and did a great & clean job. Devan called me shortly after to tell me that the shrub was moved and submitted everything to my electric company. We also decided to have the wiring between the panels and meter internally through Attic so I called Hannah and she added that project for me and explained it does not damage the roof or cause leaks/pest & rodents access. Everything is sealed and comes with 5 year leak proof warranty. I'm very happy with the quality of customer service & work done so far. If Google had 6 stars I would give it. I'll continue to update this review. UPDATE#2: Smart Green has kept me in the loop every step of the way and the Jamie Kelly from the install team sent me an email confirming all the plans. Throughout the process I got prompt emails from Eversource (Electric Company ) & Town for Permits. Jamie sent me final plan and install scheduled for this week. UPDATE#3 Solar Panels installed on a Friday. Few minor concerns bright up on Monday. They sent someone out on Tuesday to address all issues. So quick response. Panels look elegant and workmanship was clean. UPDATE#4 Town Inspection complete and passed. Waiting on Eversource to install meter. Timeline: 10/24 - met with Devan to discuss proposal & discussed with Hannah and signed contract 10/30 - Devan conducted site survey 11/6 - updated my proposal from 60% to 100% & interior wiring 11/19 - shrub moved 11/20- Application for Eversource interconnection submitted 11/27 - Eversource approved project 11/29 - Town Permit Application Submitted 12/13 - Town Permit Completed and Install scheduled for 12/15. Final project design sent to me for review. 12/15 - Install completed 12/18 - Minor issues mentored to install team 12/19 - Technician came by and assessed & addressed all issues 01/11 - Town Inspection Completed and Passed

June - Turned on the system today - very exciting! From the door knocker, to Justin Callender their outstanding sales rep, to the install team, everything was seamless and everyone so professional and personable. I can recommend SmartGreen unconditionally. August Update- having some issues with Eversource billing. Called Joann in customer service who reminded me of their 💯 satisfaction guarantee. We still need to tease out what the issue is - billing error or underproduction issues- but it’s very reassuring to hear that the CEO stands by their work and will do whatever it takes to make things right if the problem is on their end. December Update to the update - I am still waiting for the issue to be resolved. It’s been several months. They keep promising to come out with more panels but then keep rescheduling. When it actually happens I will come back and upgrade this review. Until then, I will keep at 1 star. In the meantime I’m paying more and more, over what was projected for me. January update - the additional panels were installed, up and running

These guys are the real deal. The whole experience was positive - from the sales person, to the installers, and even the support staff keeping me updated every step of the way. The sales guy, Andrew Barry, is a genius. I consulted other solar companies in my area and they tried to push more panels than I needed. Andrew seemed honest and gave me the best deal possible. The quality of the work was professional and the customer service is attentive. The company worked with me to address every little concerned I had. I am very glad I went with Smart Green Solar. I would highy recommend this company.
