They were very helpful getting the solar switched over from the previous owner. Also reassured me that the panels looked good after getting a large snowdrift covering them with deep heavy, wet snow. Staff very nice also!

We are very pleased with the installation of our solar system. We had a couple of hiccups with getting the panels but Michelle and Ben were very professional when dealing with this. The installer, Will was friendly and a very hard worker. I will be glad to recommend IM Sustainable. Update : We are into the second year after installing and so very pleased. Our Ameren bill is $12 every month ( base delivery charge) . The system is performing well and I highly recommend using IM Sustainable .

A great experience. Michelle was our contact person and she was fantastic. Every step of the way she told us what she was going to do and then she did it. Ben and the team worked extremely hard on the installation, on some ridiculously hot days, and acted like pros. We researched and reviewed 5 different companies, landing on IM Sustainable as our choice, and could not be happier. A year later: I couldn’t have been more wrong. The great communication I thought I was getting was just an attempt to make a sale. We ended up having a terrible experience and wouldn’t even consider buying from them again. Hard pass. Another update: I just received a phone call from their engineer because he wanted me to change my review. I explained the reasons why I wouldn’t. He got very combative and said I should expect a lawsuit. So let the buyer beware.

We inadvertently severed the data connection from our inverter during a change in internet providers. The problem was eventually flagged by Carbon Solutions Group. The underlying cause was not diagnosed by SolarEdge (the inverter manufacturer). Their chat rep suggested the possibility of installing and using a wireless connection. Thinking the problem was from the 3g-5g conversion issue, I called installer iM Sustainable. My request was answered almost immediately by Michelle Andaya. She contacted Ben Roy about the issue. Ben came that same afternoon, correctly diagnosed the problem, and re-established the network link right then and there. Great work, professional expertise, and a pleasant and helpful attitude! I recommend them highly.

We acquired solar from Power Home/Pink Energy who then went bankrupt. Our system was working but we were unable to use the app to see what it was doing. Ben came and fixed it. He did a lot of research and was able to take care of it. Having bought our solar system with a bad company it’s nice to know that we can call Ben anytime if it needs work! Thanks so much Ben for being an integral businessman willing to take on someone else’s unfinished job! You’re amazing!!

IM Sustainable was referred to me by a friend. I had started with a quote from another group but found out they didn't have the correct paperwork for Illinois. I'm happy that they didn't I don't think there is another company that could have done a better job then Ben on keeping me informed every step of the way. Ben and Will were very professional while onsite installing the system they went above and beyond on my installation. Michelle knew the process and procedures for Illinois and Amren. She took care of all paperwork as promised and always responded promptly to my questions which there were a large amount of. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Ben did a great job of replacing my inverter! Over the last 2 years, since first installed, inverters were updated, so it was not just a swap out! Ben made sure that everything was working properly and showed me before he left! Outstanding customer communication and workmanship! Thanks Ben!! Michelle was also great at communication and got me scheduled as soon as they got approval from the company that installed initially! Thanks Michelle!!

i am using a pseudonym but would gladly talk with anyone considering solar installation from IMSustainable. They were wonderful to work with, very thorough, very patient, very professional. All my questions were answered respectfully. The actual installation was also smooth as all the subcontractors were skilled and capable. I would recommend IMSustainable to any and all!
