I have an unconventional home with 3 sides built into a hill but a normal roof. My power meter is not located on the house but in the middle of a field behind it. Route 66 Solar know exactly what special signs Ameren expected to be posted on my home and meter. Just got my 1st full month power bill after hook up and it was $0.00!! Thank you Route 66 Solar, the whole installation process went so smooth and we definitely have already seen the benefit of solar panels.

My experience started with Scott finding a roofing company to install a new roof. I had been trying to get a new roof all during Covid. Right after that the installation of my solar began. There is no way I would have been able to do the paperwork needed without the office staff. My thanks to Scott and his entire staff.

WHERE TO START….There’s no way to express how happy we are with Route 66 Solar! From the owners, to the installation crew and electricians, everyone was absolutely AMAZING! From day one, we didn’t feel like we were dealing with a fly-by-night company. Scott explained everything to us, without pushing anything on us that we didn’t need, we feel like we were treated like family! A word of advice….get batteries if you’re able to! I rode out the tornadoes on April 27th 2011 in Alabama, and I was without electricity for nearly a month….it was a scary nightmare! With our two batteries, we will be covered if the electricity goes out for any extended amount of time. We have the security of knowing if the electricity is down, the solar will have us covered during the day, the batteries will have us covered at night. The batteries will have our critical things covered…the well pump, refrigerator, freezers, some lights, the television, the CPAP, security system. It’s definitely a huge weight off our shoulders, knowing we are covered with quality equipment. And also covered by a top notch company that’s local and dependable. Thank you so much Scott! You have an amazing company, and amazing folks representing Route 66! All of you are welcome here any time you’re in the area.

Everyone at Route 66 Solar is great! Their installation looks nice and clean both inside and outside. No conduit ran across the top of the roof like I've seen at other installations. They use the best equipment that can produce more electricity with fewer panels compared to other companies. Their battery backup system is top notch and more affordable than the options offered by their competitors. Literally five days after my system went live our area lost power and my family was oblivious to the fact. We didn't know until we started receiving texts that school was canceled and friends asking if we were without power. My answer to them was "nope, we have power" :-)

Every aspect of the process was flawless. Everyone - Kerry, Andy, Scott, Gavin, Ricky - were all so nice, professional and informative. I would recommend Route 66 to anyone looking to work with the best.
