Florida Power Services has been amazing. I was one of the unfortunate ones that used Modern Concepts Solar for my initial install, only to have them close up shop prior to my install passing inspection. I called multiple other solar companies and was either told they would not touch our solar panels due to liability, try and be sold another system and double my cost to have solar, or that they don't work on any system they didn't install. Finally got in touch with Joe at Florida Power Services and found someone willing to help. Everyone at Florida Power Services has been very knowledgeable, easy to deal with, and responsive to my calls and emails. Finally at a point where I wont be paying for both panels and an electric bill. I only wish I would have done more research for a company that had been in business more than a year and gone with Florida Power Services from the start. I cannot even begin to express to you how wonderful it is, in a world where it seems it’s really hard to know who to trust, to find people of integrity and work ethic like Florida Power Services. They are always professional, always thorough, and always looking for ways to do the very best job for their customers. We met with other solar people and felt like we left a used car lot. All sales and when you look at it closer, all about their profit. This was not the case with FPS. I actually got a quote from them months before we decided to go ahead and there really was no high pressure or manipulative sale techniques. It was straightforward and honest. So much so that when we were ready, we came back to them to do the work. The process is so streamlined - they have it down to an art form. Plus, they didn’t get behind schedule. When they say they’ll come, they do! The install looks amazing and the power is so reliable and good. It feels awesome to be doing our part to help out the environment. If you are considering solar, go with this company! My husband and I reached out to numerous solar companies and had very back luck with anyone following up with us after an initial call. On the other end of the spectrum, Joe was incredibly responsive and honest - I didn't get the impression that he was trying to push product on us, rather, he gave facts and his thoughtful opinion when we asked for it. After reviewing quotes from other companies, we found that Florida Power Services offered the best prices for what we were looking for, and now we know they also offer excellent service. Joe also worked with our roofing company to ensure we had the most appropriate roof put on for the panels. As we waited for the roofing company to finish, Joe was very flexible and patient despite the roofer's changing deadlines. Once we were ready for the solar panel installation, Joe's company immediately and quickly completed the work. Joe continually checked in with us during and after this entire process to make sure we were happy with the product/work - which we are! We are now almost fully powered by solar and making back the money we spent for it. If you're looking for an affordable solar option from a very trustworthy and responsive company, go with Florida Power Services. It's a huge financial investment, so I am taking this recommendation very seriously.
