Be very careful with this company. They lie to you to get the sale. Then they stop answering the phone or emails from you. They don’t keep their promises. I am waiting on a reimbursement that was promised. I have called and emailed about it and I just get ignored. Good thing I have it in writing so that I can pursue it in small claims court but you shouldn’t have to do all of that with a company you made a 70k+ purchase from. I was very skeptical at first but let my guard down after Matt came out and presented himself and his company as standup people (it’s a lie). They are just like all the other liars. They make promises that they don’t keep.

Sonia, was fantastic! The guys that came out were great! Unfortunately my Genarac system errored out 2 days after it was serviced. I am looking foward to Lotus Engery resolving my issue for me. This has been a nightmare but I have faith that if anyone can resolve it they can. I will change to 5 stars when the issue is resolved.

DO NOT do business with Lotus Energy and Solar they untagged themself I hired them to install a 15.3 KW system on my home November 2021 to date. The system is not functioning properly and is consistently having multiple failures. I have tried to contact Generac Power Systems Inc. we received minimal to no assistance at all. They only refer you to the selling dealer. I’ve contacted the selling dealer and installer multiple times. Amanda Cruz, and her husband Nelson are the owners I’ve requested multiple times for either one of them to come to my home and inspect the system. I’ve requested for Generac to come to the home and inspect the system to date. This is not happened, the only thing I’m asking for is for a properly functioning system. I paid $80,000 for this system and my electric bill did not decrease. My previous electric bill was $330.00  my new electric bill is averaging about $225 a month and I have a $294 a month solar system payment. I failed to see the savings. UPDATE: Amanda and Nelson the owners called me and proceeded to cuss me up one side and down the other called me every vile name you can think of. I wish Florida was a single party notification state because I would post a recording of the call however Florida is not a single party notification state so I couldn’t record it. I reached back out to Generac and the person (JonB)who is supposed to be involved in this is not he’s on vacation for the last two weeks and now the technical service manager(Jeff) needs 48 hours to get up to speed and the other guy to get back from vacation and then they will possibly have some answers. Update 2 : still no work completed from Lotus. Still excuses as to why we did find out however, they didn’t pull a permit for the second inverter and therefore we’re going to have to have all of that drawn up and new permit pulled.

Great team who came to install. They were prepared, and cleaned up after there work afterwards.

Bought solar panels from this company. I was called to setup an installation and they never showed up. I find out that they have botched the installation schedule. Not very happy after some back and forth which I was ready to stop business decided to continue with it. The installation crew took longer than expected, but they ran into some issues concerning its a 120yrs old house. The crew was great and very professional. I’m still not too happy with everything and currently still waiting for the inspection so I can start using the panels. I was told I should hear from the company yet haven’t heard from them. Also still waiting on a check for some tree trimming that was done they said they would pay for. Not happy at all. It would have been a zero star review if it wasn’t for their install crew and the salesman. I’m not sure I would ever recommend this company to anyone. My recommendation is buyers beware. I should have done more research on this company and stick more with a local company since they are based out of Florida.

Three young men came to my house early this morning and worked until 6:30pm to get my solar panels installed and ready to go—pending inspection. They were polite and hard working, efficient, and cleaned up after they were done. They were determined to get everything done before dark-and they did! My salesman, Matt Craven, was very helpful in explaining how everything will work and he was very patient with all my questions. Along the way, he was always very supportive as he understood how important this was to me. I viewed this decision as a hedge against future escalating energy costs. He designed the system for me with that goal in mind. I always felt that he was working for me and I’m very comfortable now with my decision and am excited to get it up and running! I recommend Lotus Energy without reservation. You will be in good hands with this company!

We are very happy we chose Lotus Energy & Solar to install our new solar panels. We know there are other good companies out there, but we would be surprised if any of them could exceed the level of service and expertise that we received — from beginning to end. Some highlights: — Lotus offered the best price — about $8,000 less than one competitor and tens of thousands less than another. And they didn’t cut corners. We received state-of-the-art panels and other support materials considered among the best in the industry.. — Co-owner Amanda Cruz was always available to answer questions along the way, as was her staff. — Lotus’ installers took only one day to put up our panels, and also took the time to answer our questions and concerns during the job. There were some glitches along the way, which didn’t surprise us considering the complexity and size of the project. But Lotus’ friendly staff was quick to resolve all of them. Lotus is not the oldest solar company operating in Florida. Nor is it as well known as some others. If our experience is an indication, however, it is clearly one of the best.

I have a Generac Power Cell solar system. Since day one I have had continuous issues with the company that installed it. After 5 attempts at fixing ongoing problems they stopped answering my calls and haven’t heard from them since. Lotus Energy was recommended to me for assistance. Within 7 days there technician’s where on site and had my entire system functioning properly after only two hours. That’s with going the extra step to make sure all my electrical panel wiring was done correctly. I appreciate there professional workmanship and manners unlike the way I was treated beforehand. I have been in Florida for 12 years now and I haven’t seen a company with such high standards in a long time. They have helped restore my faith in having someone to rely on to do a job right the first time. I commend your people. Please if you are having issues with your system give these people a call. You finally have someone that will care and help. Thank you.
