Tron Solar

TRON did an amazing job on the installation for my client. I’ve sold solar for many years now and this is by far the best installation crew I’ve seen in the state of Illinois. Extremely clean attic runs and respectful crew the homeowner was happy with. Brian was extremely helpful when I reached out with any questions or concerns and was able to expedite any issues I needed resolving in the process. I want them on as the installation crew for all my future deals.

Update: I’ve been working with Susan on a roofing/gutter issue and she has been amazing. She went above and beyond with Allstate and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Expert roofers and will fix and correctly resolve issues. Thank you, Susan. From our first meeting with Isaiah to full install with a couple of months of solar, it’s been a great experience. Best customer service through the entire project and maintenance. So glad we went with Tron for our solar.

Update: Keith from Tron reached out post my review and has been really helpful with following up and answering my questions on our system and helping understand what we can do to help offset our large electric bill. And even the director of communications reached out to ensure we have a better experience. //We used Tron and have had our panels since 2019. Originally I thought they were a good company and our sales guy Andy was really knowledgeable or so I thought. Once the panels were installed our bill did go down but we continually have problems with our system not reporting output. When I would call tron there was a guy Giray who was assigned to our home and he was terrible! I knew more about solar equipment than he did he was confused and not helpful. Fast forward a couple years and still same problem with system not reporting is happening only now our bill is 340& a month and I have the solar loan on top of that! Our system is underpowered! I have tried for about a year to get them to even give me a price for additional panels and the done respond or send me in loops saying they would add panels but your system isn’t performing! Yea no duh!!!! They are terrible stay away find another more reputable reliable company! That is knowledgeable and has good customer service because I am beyond frustrated and wish I never used them.

The overall experience with Tron from beginning to installation has been great. Every member of the Tron team has been very helpful, respectful, and patient with me through this whole process. I recommend Tron over every other solar company!

I had my first meeting with Tron Solar as a skeptic prepared to say no thank you. However, as Miguel laid out the leasing and purchase options, I realized going solar was much simpler and affordable than I realized. I was sold. Tron Solar was in frequent communication throughout the pre-installation process, sharing their evolving plans for my panel layout and keeping the installation timeline transparent. Post-installation, Brian has kept in touch via text and has been prompt and helpful in answering all my questions. I feel confident that Tron will continue to take good care of me as a customer moving forward.

Has been an easy process getting this all done. Tron took care of almost every part. They knocked out the install in about 3 hours and never stepped foot in my house at all. Site was cleaned up well. Agents are responsive and easy to contact. Go with TRON!

Tron has been very efficient throughout the process of getting my solar panels installed. They have followed up consistently, communicated well, and went above and beyond to help answer questions and show care for their customers. Isaiah has been wonderful, he has stayed in touch through the process, coordinated communication, and shown great kindness! Giray was fantastic with both communication, friendliness, and professionalism, he left my ceiling looking better than it was ever before. So pleased! Tron Solar is a five star company. I think they are one of the best companies in IL. They installed solar roof couple month ago. It works as expected. Their customer service always helpful. If I have any questions they are always there. Especially thanks to Giray, Jaime and Steve
