GREAT people! Honest, hardworking company. Highly recommend R&R Tree (Bruce Stover) for any and all tree work or tree removal that you need. Very reliable and great prices.
The employees are very professional as for the owner, he is very rude and disrespectful and one of those men who seem to talk down to women because he thinks he is superior or something. I feel bad for his employees and his wife... that is if someone puts up with him. If someone does its definitely isn't because he's a good guy.. probably for the money.
Bruce and his team did an awesome job removing a tree with the stump. They were very professional and quick. I definitely recommend them.
Absolutely awesome company. JP and his crew were amazing getting the job done. I have 5 acres full of Laurel and Water Oaks. They trimmed back huge hazardous limbs that could potentially fall onto the barn and animal enclosures. A couple of the 80-90ft oaks were by my house and at risk of falling. It was a very risky location because of the potential to fall right on top of my house or my chicken coop. JP and the guys were total pros and controlled exactly where each tree, limb, ect... would fall. Thanks guys! I highly recommend and most definitely will use again. 😁👍
My neighbors used this tree service this past weekend. As we were about to let our dogs out, we saw our gate was wide open and the tree removal truck was in our backyard, working on the neighbors yard from ours. We have a septic tank that he may have run over. When i approached the shirtless man working the equipment he said the neighbors said it was fine to use our yard. I have only spoken to my neighbors 2 or 3 times since we moved in 2.5 years ago and I do not know them nor did I say it was okay for them to use our yard. The they ran over my dogs water dish, made our grass muddy, potentially damaged our septic and caused us to not be able to let our dogs out or use our own yard because of their trespassing. I will NEVER recommend this unprofessional business. If i could rate negative I would. If they trespass again I will call the cops next time.
Highly recommend R&R!!!! They did an excellent job removing trees, trimming trees & cleaning out some underbrush at my home. Fair pricing and on-time, exceptional work by Bruce and his team. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone - they will not disappoint!
Bruce was highly recommended by several neighbors. So glad we went with him, saftey was always his main concern which was great because that was our main concern. I was scared to have it removed because it was leaning over the house but they made me comfortable after I seen the steps they were taking to assure safety. We had nearby tree and he explained to us he would take stump up as long as it did not damage root system of other trees which makes since to me. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family or anyone that needs tree service done.
While working in a neighbor's yard, Bruce Stover agreed to remove a fallen tree from our back yard. He did not complete the tree removal. While working in a neighbor's yard, Bruce Stover agreed to remove a fallen tree from our back yard. He did not complete the tree removal. It was a handshake agreement because he's an "up the street" neighbor, although we had never met. The live oak tree that had fallen was completely out of the ground, roots parallel to the surface of our yard. There was no stump--the entire tree was out. Mr. Stover tried a couple of times to grab the tree just above the roots, then used his machine to pound the stump back into the ground at an angle. Mr Stover claimed that, were he to remove the dead tree stump, nearby trees would fall and he would be liable. I soon found out this was NOT true. He said he would continue with the removal if I paid him an additional $900 to remove nearby trees. Finally, he agreed he would take away the rest of the tree if I signed a document taking full responsibility for the so-called "liability." I agreed. The next day, he changed his mind and would not come back unless I called the Florida Department of Agriculture (UF Extension) and had them certify that taking away the rest of that dead tree would not cause nearby trees to fall. The department spokesman said that since they are LIVING live oaks, the root beds on those nearby 50-foot trees would NOT cause them to fall, and that Mr Stover was thinking of pine trees. Finally, in curse-laden tirade on the phone, he told me that "no one in the world can make" him remove the rest of that tree without getting $900 to take down the nearby trees. I feel like I have been extorted because I stupidly trusted a neighbor to stand behind his end of a (literal) handshake agreement. The yard itself suffered a great deal of damage that needs repair, and the uprooted tree that he stuffed back into the soil is now a "stump" I need to have ground out. Incidentally, the first check I wrote was to his business, R & R Tree Service, which was not satisfactory. He wanted a personal check made out to him in his own name, which should have made me suspicious then. In essence, I don't know if R & R Tree Service removed part of my tree, or Bruce Stover as an individual removed it! I have also uploaded a photo of the fallen tree in which you can see the dead tangle of roots at the left, and an additional photograph of the stump that only became a stump because it was pounded into the ground--one can see that it is not at the angle of the fallen tree anymore, and has been set sort of upright. I have notified the BBB.
