I would NOT recommend to anyone. I am remodeling 3 homes in Grand County. They are where spa man use to be and I walked in to see the show room and ask questions to pick out all our doors, windows, and materials. Greeted by the first woman that was insanely rude. I didnt get it. Like I was a second class citizen. I mean for no reason. Then then must be the manager or boss and she had her nose so far up in the air its insane. The woman was wondering "Why I was in her showroom?" WOW! What a welcoming person. What you should do, USE ANYONE OTHER THAN THEM. Dont use snotty people.

My contractor installed Anderson windows for the construction of our new home. The windows were supplied through Legacy Building Specialties, Inc. Several of the windows do not operate properly. Specifically, they are not properly aligned so they don’t close properly. This is uncomfortable and inefficient in the winter months. Further, the windows are missing parts and at least one needs to be replaced. We’ve been in the house a while, and finally a month or so ago, a representative of the company visited my home. I haven’t heard from him since his visit. While the quality of the windows is suspect, the failure to timely correct the problems and lack of responsiveness is unacceptable. PS I reviewed your response below. We have a different definition of resolution. When the problems are corrected, and the windows are fully operational, I think you can then say that the issue is resolved.

I've been working with them for almost 10 years installing doors and windows. Great people, highly recommended. They stand behind their products. Easy access off US 40, handicap accessible parking.

Steve did a great job with the installation of weather stripping on an old Andersen sliding patio door that had seen better days. The door itself has had some foundation settling which has over time taken the unit out of square. Steve made some adjustments to help make the door slide much better. We may have to replace the unit at some point down the road and if we do we will definitely use Legacy!

Steve & Leo could not have been anymore professional, nice or fast. Upon arrival, after greetings, they reviewed the action plan, spread drop cloths in the area of work and jumped on replacement of 5 windows. The window trim looks original, no damage. From start to finish, including clean up and debris removal they were gone in ~4 hours. I highly recommend these guys!

We started with Legacy 12 years ago when we built a place in Grand Lake. We’ve continued our relationship with them through the years and have always been happy with their service/work. This time around they’re replacing our kitchen counters and backsplash. Tom and Robbie have been solid in their communication of the the process and all of the scheduling. Steve and Leo did the demo and then moved appliances back—they’re super friendly, hard working and thorough. Great experience once again. Thank you Tom, Robbie, Steve and Leo. The folks at Legacy Building Specialties have been great to work with. I had some warranty issues that the owner worked on personally to get resolved. The repairs were made and the guys doing the work were very pleasant and did not leave the job until all repairs were completed and cleaned up after themselves. Would I use them again. Yes I would ! Zero Stars Really! We bought windows for our home in Grand Co. at Legacy. The sales part was fine. The problem is service. One of the windows needs to be replaced because it lost its seal and much of the trim won’t stay in place. All of it under warranty. Steve their service guy doesn’t call you back. It has taken him over a year for him to come out. He finally came out said he felt terrible about the delays and will get right on it. Guess what haven’t heard from him in months. He will not return my calls. Called the office they said they’d get right back to me too. Not a word! I do not recommend Legacy!!
