We had over 8 quotes to have 9 windows replaced. Window World was one of the most affordable. Some of the quotes we received were insanely high and they were pressuring us to sign a contract right away. Ken was our rep and didn't pressure us into making a decision, he was great, friendly and honest. The windows came in early just after 4 weeks. The installation crew was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional, they did an excellent job and it was done in just a day. Overall, it was a great experience! We love are new windows, much more quiet and energy efficient. Thank you Window World!

Response from the owner

I had a near perfect experience with Window World. My salesperson, Steve, was on time to every meeting and quick to respond to any questions. My windows arrived within the time frame that they were promised. The install crew, led by Ricardo, did an excellent job. My house is stucco, and every other window company I spoke to told me that the stucco would be very damaged during install. There was ZERO damage to any stucco during installation. The crew finished exactly when they said they would and cleaned up completely. There were a couple of small issues with the windows themselves (a malfunctioning crank, a small nick in the vinyl of one window), but those have been addressed with no questions asked. I have had a lot of work done on multiple homes over the years, and very few of the jobs have gone as smoothly as this one. I would definitely recommend Window World and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

Response from the owner

We are delighted to hear about your positive experience with our team here at Window World, Brooke! Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback, especially about Steve, for being an attentive sales consultant, and Ricardo and his installation crew, for taking detailed care of your home during the installation. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we look forward to assisting you again in the future. We appreciate the recommendation!

Mark Kimble was amazing. He provided information about the windows. He answered all my questions and he didn't pressure me into making a decision. The quote was too good to pass up and I didn't. Can't wait for the installation of my new windows and patio door. Update with pictures will follow.

Response from the owner

Originally had an amazing experience with window world. They took half the payment before and the remaining payment due after install. Got 13 windows replaced; ordering and delivery was quick, so was installment. It took the crew around 5 hours give or take to remove the old windows and install the new ones in. The main complaint I have is that we noticed a day or two after that when they did the install, they had cracked through one of the marble window sill but didn’t say anything to us. So when I contacted the company about it I spoke to Elijah and he requested that I text him pictures of the damage this was on 3/27. On 4/04 someone came to put in the pieces for the window track. I let them know about the damage to the window sill and they took pictures of it and said they would get in touch with Elijah about it and how I should be hearing back from him. Here we are on 4/24 and no one has contacted me back about the damage that was done and what they plan on doing about it. There has been no replacement nor reimbursement. Overall this has made a negative impact on how I view the company and how they do business with people. If something was damaged during install, it should be the companies responsibility to offer a solution to fix the problem. Definitely use them with caution.

After a very long process, we now have a simi completed job. We interviewed and received 5 quotes to have our windows replaced, and by taking into consideration the lifetime warranty of parts and labor, Window World came in with the best value for our money. We chose hurricane windows and sliding glass doors. We had received a quote on having our windows replaced. Unfortunately, it was still quite a bit more than we were expecting, so we had to wait to accumulate the amount that was needed. We finally called to give the ok for the job. We ended up finding out the doors were made local in Orlando, Florida. However, the windows were made somewhere else in the country, so they took several months to get. I had made several calls on the status, and each time, something different was the problem. One was left out of the shipment, and one came in broke and on and on. Then they finally all came in, but they had problems installing because they said my gutter was too close to one. After a couple of weeks, we got that taken care of, but then one that was installed in our bathroom had a Crack in it and one of our door handles had a chip of paint out of it. So it took a couple of months to get the replacement window and door handle replaced. When they replaced the doors, they installed smaller width doors, so none of the trim molding matched from the previous, when I called to find out when they would send someone out to correct the issue, they said it was my responsibility. I found that it was very unprofessional. They are the ones that mis measured, and it was not an installation damage problem. It was just simple, measured, and ordered wrong. So, I still have to hire someone to fix their mistakes. To summarize, I'm happy with the following, the product, the installers were great, and they cleaned up from their job. Poor customer service. Most of my communications were by me calling with little callbacks. This is the second time using them. The first time everything was great, but then that was several years ago at a previous house.

Response from the owner

I wish I could use 2 reviews to rate Window World as I had very different experiences with the company. I will rate them 2 stars here, but I would rate them as follows based on my experience. The ordering & purchasing of the windows with the sales team & dealing with Window World before installation gets them 1 star. The actual installation under Luis A. and his team gets them 5 stars. Now for some honest reality. I don't like writing a bad review. But when one is treated poorly after spending almost 9K, it's all too much. The first sales rep came out, but said they couldn't do the job. Our HOA gave us the name of another Window World sales rep who had done work for our condo so I contacted Judy S. She explained that because our floor steps down 3 inches we need to raise the floor, add a small knee wall of concrete block under the windows and this would allow them to put new windows in. The job of replacing windows now Includes pouring concrete, raising the floor & adding a support wall. We signed the contract mid June and we were told it would take 10 - 12 weeks to manufacture the windows & door. At the 12 week mark we get notice from the company that the manufacturer sent 1 of the 5 windows to the wrong address and they can't find it so they have to make another window but they are going to rush it thru & we will have our window in 4 to 6 weeks. They were sorry. At the 4 week mark I reach out to Judy for an update. I do not get a return call. Turns out they are terrible about returning your phone calls. I send a text. Hours later I get a text back saying all is good and it will be the full 6 weeks. Ok. We wait. Week 7 we get a call saying all is ready for install. Judy promised us an installer named Angel, as he has the most experience at our condo. Install set for 2 weeks out. Day of install a crew shows up and it's not Angel and they have NO door. I call Judy & get her voice mail. Left her this voice mail. Wrong crew and missing the door. I then texted Judy and told her she better check her VM. 3 minutes later my partner gets a call from Judy. An hour later Judy & an installer shows up. Told them to talk to Dan. They both measured the windows again. They looked right into our eyes as he told us the door would be a rush order and instead of the normal 10 weeks, he will get it done in 4 to 6 weeks. It's now October. We have had to put our lives on hold since June. At the end of week 6, I reached out to Judy for an update only to be told 2 more weeks. 2 weeks later I reach out again and I get a text back saying the door will be in the facility on the 15th! So we called the next day to ask if we could get install on the 16th. Told they do not set up installation till all parts of the order are in. So we wait. Low & behold a day later we get a call asking us if they could install on Saturday the 18th. We were leaving on the 20th. We said yes. They called us back to say they can't install on the 18th but could we do it next week.i texted Judy with this info and the text I got back was: I'm on vacation. Talk to the office. Talk about poor customer service, why not just flip me the finger. Told them we were out of town and we settled on the 29th of November. They ensured we would have Angel and an install manager on hand for the whole project as they are going to get this right. The morning of the 29th, Luie and Kevin show up. No Angel. No manager.. Luis told us he had the experience with our condo. He was calm and we both felt like it was now or never. So we say yes. They unload & start with the install. Then Luis tells us he has a problem. The windows are too small for the opening. But he can retrofit them. I tell Luis to give me a few minutes. I call Window World. I can't get Judy or Rich. Then Rich calls Luis. Not me. Luis was told to do whatever he has to, to get the job done. It took them 2 days to do the install. I can't praise Luis and Kevin enough. They did a great job. Hence my split reviews. Install gets a 5. Window World gets a 2. Windows are good quality. Luis was great, the rest not so much.
