The work performed was solid. I'm still not sure I needed the sump, but that piece is on me. My reason for the 3 star rating is due to the following issues: 1. The job took twice as long as what was quoted, 2. A few bricks were damaged during the pipe installation (one on the retaining wall), 3. I never received the warranty paperwork after requesting it twice, 4. One of my Dewalt tools disappeared and this is the only contractor who had access to my garage. Once again, this contractor does good work, and I felt this was a fair assessment. Update: I would like to thank Jim for returning my tool to me. It wasn't in the best of shape upon return and it was returned two months late, but I am glad to welcome back. Thanks again Jim!

Very easy to work with. Always available to communicate with. Gave information needed to made a decision on what needed to be done. Would recommend if you have foundation issues.

We have had water issues in our basement for over 10 years. We tried one approach to mitigate the leakage, but after several years it failed. When our entire basement flooded this summer after a big rain, we knew we couldn't postpose addressing it any longer. We did our due diligence, and spoke with several Foundation companies. We didn't take this decision lightly and even consulted a structural engineer. Jim Brooks of Foundation Pro Services was one of the contractors who submitted a bid to us. From the first time we met him, we found Jim to be very personable, extremely knowledgeable and I felt very trustworthy. We took some time to decide what approach we needed, and kept coming back to Jim. I have a background in Geology and am very aware of all the issues involved. We were truly trying to find the best solution possible and Jim patiently worked through all our questions and concerns. One thing that stuck with me was when he said that ultimately your job is only as good as the people who install it. He told us that he has a reliable team that has worked for him for an extended period of time. We reviewed his approach to waterproof the interior of our basement and then together, we customized a solution for an exterior drainage issue. I have to say that I was very impressed with Jim's team that completed our solution. They were personable, polite, respectful and a genuine pleasure to work with. It was obvious they cared about the quality of their work and cheerfully addressed any concerns we presented to them. Our inside waterproofing was expertly installed and our outside customized solution, exceeded our expectations. Both installations showed a high level of experience. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Jim Brooks of Foundation Pro Services and his team to address your foundation issues. Of all the contractors we have had in our home through the years, he ranks at the very top for quality, cost and ease to work with.

We used Foundation Pro Services for a long overdue encapsulation of a crawl space and basement. The owner, Jim Brooks, came out several times during the job. I highly recommend Jim Brooks and Foundation Pro Services. I got several quotes for basement waterproofing/crawl space encapsulation and Jim was the most responsive. I was nervous about the potential investment needed to complete this job, but he fully explained the scope of work and was honest with what was needed. He also looked outside of my house and recommended landscaping solutions that would be beneficial. I had full confidence going into the project and his team was professional and performed quality work. Extremely pleased with the finished result and how Jim treated me as a client. Everybody we worked with at Foundation Pro Services was top-notch. We especially were grateful for Jim and Garrett Brooks who were clear communicators and took extra time to explain exactly what needed to be done. Before starting our project we sought multiple bids and they were significantly lower than two and 5% lower than the other. The work they did was extremely high quality, and they cleaned up the area around the crawlspace they repaired to make it look better than it was before they started the work. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.
