We had a great experience with Southern Structural - fast, clean, and quality work! Our 100 year old home needed a little love after a drop in the kitchen. We needed some support columns and beams installed and some rotten wood replaced. I was referred to Brian Phillips from a colleague, and he came out right away to assess the issue. He was knowledgeable and honest and I never felt pressure to do more than was needed. Jerome and Mike were the leads on our job and they were awesome! The crews were so kind, worked very efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves each day. Mike took the time to walk me through all the work completed each day I felt confident that everything was getting done right. We trusted the crew and even left the house several times while they were working - no issues whatsoever. The overall price of the job was very reasonable and we even got a credit back for the unused material! These guys are pros and I would definitely recommend giving them a call if you’re getting quotes.

I had multiple foundation companies come out to assess some settling. Southern structural - recommended by 3 people I trust - was the only company that didn't give me a quote the day they came out. They didn't want to scare me in a time of worry, they wanted to get to the bottom of the problem and find the causation. Out of three companies, only they recommended a structural engineer to come inspect. The "extra expense" in hiring an engineer actually saved me money on the total project. They were also the only company that tried to calm my nerves at the time. Other folks were telling me how bad the situation was and told me I needed to make a quick decision since they were busy. Brian was excellent to work with in the preparation leading to the repairs. The men they sent to my property to complete the work were extremely respectful to me and my property. Can't say enough great things here. Super honest.

We hired Southern Home last month to solve some floor deflection issues in our den and living room and are glad we did. The quote was competitive, and the company was really easy to work with. They worked out a plan to support the floor and were flexible when we decided to support an additional space we hadn’t initially planned on. Everything was clearly explained beforehand, installation went smoothly and our floor deflection issues are gone.
