Carolina Foundation Solutions exceeded my most stringent expectations, from Gary McLamb the estimator when he arrived on short notice and provided a quotation within 24 hours to get us in under the wire of our due diligence time frame, to Miranda in scheduling who courteously answered my questions and efficiently got our project scheduled, to most importantly perhaps, Robert and his crew that did the actual work. Robert was a delight to work with. In this day and age it was so refreshing to work with Robert, who was a great communicator explaining the processes fully to me as well as patient and accommodating in answering a multitude of questions I threw out during the process. The crew was respectful and accommodating as a reflection of Robert I'm sure. Robert paid strict attention to detail and made sure that all of the project was completed as ordered and the results of their clean up was almost as they had never been there. If you have foundation or crawlspace concerns this is the company to go with! Andrew came out to inspect my home. He was very knowledgeable and professional. It was easy to tell he loves his job. He did not play the role of a salesman like some other companies would have. He told me what could be improved on and was very thorough with his assessment of my property. These guys are the real deal: responsive, reliable, pleasant to work with, effective in what they do, and fairly priced! I say this after completing the last of the needed work on my home which sits on some of the worst clay-based dirt on the planet. Since 2012 (it is now 2024), they have come out a total of 5 times to install helical piers on 3 sides of my house, confirm the integrity of previously installed piers, and to install 10 jacks in my crawl space for addition support. They could have tried to sell me on all this work from the start, but their approach was to do only what is needed now so that I did not pay for something that may never be needed. These guys are exceptional in all respects!!! I would call them in again with absolutely NO hesitation. And as a bonus, the people in the office are every bit as nice and effective and the field crews.

Bryan McLamb and Carolina Foundation Solutions were amazing. Bryan arrived early and addressed all of the concerns we had. After a thorough inspection, we talked about the different options and what his recommendation would be. I had other companies out to look at the foundation and felt stuck, but Bryan helped us work through the options and find the solution that worked best for our home. Purchased a home in 2020 and was able to transfer the warranty from previous owner. Recently had an issue with sump pump. Nate (the Great) happened to be nearby and arrived literally 10 minutes after I called. He quickly replaced the pump under warranty and got me back in business. Great customer service and response! I would highly recommend CFS.

We had a sump pump and drainage system put in, 2021 in by Carolina Basement solutions, which apparently merged with this company since. Before the merger they once honored their warranty by having to come back out to replace a switch, but now because we can’t find our original warranty paper, they will no longer honor the warranty and we are left again with standing water in our crawl space after the flooding we just had. Even though they have us in their records. If they had installed it right to begin with, I don’t believe we would have had problems this soon and now they don’t stand by the work. Waste of a few thousand dollars and I do not recommend.

Everything with this company has been great. From the first phone call, to the visit to evaluate my crawl space, to the crew coming out to replace my vapor barrier. Everyone treated me and my property with care and respect. I appreciate their honesty and not just out to sell something that isn't needed. Mason took his time to test the humidity in my crawl space and the wood. He didn't only give his recommendation, but explain why he recommended it. He also explained in detail how their company would perform the recommended work. The crew showed up when expected and cleaned up and left everything neat and clean. This company also follows up to make sure their customers are happy with every part of their work. I'm very happy with the finished product and would highly recommend this company.

To start: Kerney was an amazing inspector. He was able to explain to me all the issues I had from buying an 80 year old home and why there were certain issues. It was troublesome to me seeing cracking in the foundation walls, luckily not much interior issues besides floor sloping in certain areas, while also explaining codes they didn't have in those times. He's very knowledgeable in his work. I would like to also call out Jordan and his crew, they were very professional and courteous. I thought I wouldn't be home from my vacation in time, luckily we cut it early because they needed power which needed to be ran via extension cord from inside the house. Jordan also was aware enough to remove his shoes before entering the house since he had dirt caked, and then rolled his pants to catch falling debris. Really, thank you to everybody! Fair price and all!
