Deck Masters just completed our second story deck replacement including creating a wonderful screened porch underneath. They have outstanding attention to detail. They met with us regularly to advise on progress and solutions to supply chain delays. The crews were friendly and professional. They do high quality work at a fair price and handled every detail from design to stain. We couldn't be happier. Blake and Eric make a great team.

This review is only stating the facts of what took place and the outcome. This Deck was part of an entire remodel on the outside of our house. Let me start out by saying that I'm all for having fun at work, but it sounded like a party in my backyard with very loud music, lots of loud talking, sometimes yelling, and lots of laughing. The deck was framed out wrong. The boards should had gone to the fence. The fix was a board, not flushed with the deck, going different than the pattern, and they supported the deck by screwing it to our brand new fence. The threshold under the back door wasn't supported, as discussed with both the owner and salesperson. The Deck is unleveled, and slopes toward the house, instead of away from the house liked discussed with owner and salesperson. The design included built in benches, one of the benches was noticeable warped. On a different bench the trim was pieced together with two boards instead of one, like the others. The supports on two benches were missing screws causing them to be loose. On some of the benches, the seams didn't line up causing unsafe sharp edges. Although this is a designed used by Deck Masters but not chosen by us, the board going down the middle of the Deck was the same color as the trim. We chose, for our deck, to be all one color, and the paperwork reflected this decision. Two boards were not cut properly, showing the under support of the pressure wood, so my husband had to repair. In some places, gray screws were used on brown boards, and brown screws used on gray boards. When my husband brought this up to the owner, he said it doesn't matter. Eventually, dirt will get in the screws and cover them up. We had to go back and touch up the brand new paint job on the back of our house from multiple scratches. They came back three, maybe four times, to repair the errors the best that they could without rebuilding the entire deck. All and all the Deck is ok.

Deck Masters has built for me a nice and expensive deck in my backyard few years back, with a roof and pergola attached to it. It was the envy of the neighborhood. I was excited and happy to show it off to my neighbors and didn’t mind the high price attached to it. However that excitement didn’t last when the first rainy season came along. The rain was pouring on us while we were sitting on the deck. It was pouring down through the junction between the roof and the pergola. I was heartbroken. But know I was ok since I bought a five year warranty from them, but I was wrong. For years and multiple calls, Deck master gave me the run around and never fixed this nightmare for me. It is so sad that they won’t hold up to their end of the bargain, and literally leave their customer under the rain, after they got their money. If you want something looking good do business with them. If you want something properly working, save your money and your pain and stay away from them. Eric has been very helpful and responsive in fixing our deck issues

Love, love, love our patio cover!! We purchased a new home last year that had almost everything we were looking for ... except a patio cover. It had nothing!! I had about 5 estimates done because, quite honestly, the cost was coming in much higher than I expected. Deck Masters wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, but they gave me the most confidence with their answers to my questions. There were delays due to weather but it was totally worth the wait. The crew was skillful, neat and friendly. In about a week they were done and now our home is complete!

Deck Masters has far exceeded our expectations building our patio cover. They were professional from the initial design phase, submitting the permits, coordinating multiple contractors and ultimately its completion. Eric managed the project as if it was his own. We are extremely happy with the end result! The roof line looks as if it was part of the original construction. We’ve been giving Deck Masters glowing reviews to all of our friends. We highly recommend their services!

Deck Masters transformed our backyard into a resort with a new outdoor living space! It basically added another room to our house! They worked closely with our family on the overall design layout to insure all our needs were met. Our old wooden deck was replaced with a beautiful colored concrete deck that is now covered by a western red cedar structure complete with a matching roof. Their stone mason added stone steps to the deck to match the new curved stone wall bench seating and S-shaped bar. LED accent lights were also added to the steps and stonework for those night-time parties. The perimeter of the pool deck was resurfaced to create a nice barefoot walking surface. Their attention to detail every step of the way was incredible. You can count on their experience and expertise to help you transform your backyard into a resort style living space! Your backyard will be where all your friends and all your kid’s friends will want to hang out.

DM came highly recommended by Prater Concrete (who did our stamped concrete patio, who we loved) so after getting some other quotes, I decided to stick with them. Very high integrity, great communication, fair and they did a fantastic job. The guys working on site were thorough, cleaned up after themselves, played with our dogs and were very personable. They found a couple design issues in the drawing that the supervisor walked me through and made sure I understood what my options were, which I very much appreciated! Overall, I'd highly recommend this company to anyone looking to add a beautiful structure at a fair price to their home. They did a wonderful job!

My pergola looks amazing! It makes my back yard and pool look like a resort. I trusted Blake’s experience and appreciated his honesty about whether or not my design expectations were realistic. His design actually far exceeded what I initially thought I wanted. Eric managed the job very professionally and was always available to take my calls and courteous when I asked questions. Roberto was very accommodating and happy to answer any questions I had during the building process, and he and his helper worked very hard to complete the job in only a day and a half. We are very happy with the service we received and the outcome of the build!
