We cannot say enough good things about the workmanship and professionalism of Will and his helper Chris in removing our old split level wooden deck and replacing it with a beautiful, single level composite deck. We found his pricing very competitive and their attention to detail and perfection was remarkable. We would highly recommend A1 for any deck construction or replacement.

We needed a 20 year old 4 ft wooden fence replaced. They gave us the best quote and said they’d have us scheduled within 2 weeks. Just a few days later they called to say they had time the next day to get our job done while they waited on supplies for another job. When we came home the job was complete perfection. Such quality work! I won’t ever call anyone else for fence work!

We are so glad that we chose A1 Affordable Deck & Fence to take on our project! The deck was 38 years old and needed to be completely rebuilt... it was a complex undertaking due to the pool and erosion that had occurred over the years. We had intended to rebuild with wood but Will Shiver suggested we use composite decking and we are incredibly pleased with the results! Shane and Charlie took great care everyday to make sure we were happy with the way things were looking. They take great pride in their work and it definitely shows. Fantastic! A1 Deck and Fence is absolutely the best in Tallahassee! They replaced several hundred feet of fencing that was either rotten or damaged by trees falling on it and did a super job. Then they put in a new 400 SF composite deck based on some sketches I had made of the deck we wanted. The crew was great and did a fantastic job in a quick time at a reasonable price. You cannot go wrong in contacting Will Shiver and A-1 Deck and Fencing. He knows what he is talking about! I am a very satisfied customer!

Will and his crew were fantastic. Will quoted a fair price, started the job on time and did an outstanding job. There was an existing large wooden deck (52X16) that needed to be replaced from the ground up. Will suggested a different way of doing it and let him do it the way he wanted to. It turned out so much better. He used top notch material and his crew was very experienced. I can't say enough good things about them. He wouldn't take payment until the job was finished even though I offered. Everything was done on a hand shake. I vetted him before hiring him and he was as honest and reliable as I was told he would be.

I highly recommend William and his crew. My fence is high-quality for a reasonable price. William and his crew came when they said they would, performed the work and cleaned up the mess afterwards. I would definitely use them again and recommended them to anyone else.

A-1 installed our metal roof last week and did an excellent job! A-1 also built a carport and decks for us in the past. They’ve always been very professional, trustworthy and of course affordable! I won’t ever use anyone else. If I need something built... A-1 is the only one I’ll call.
