We hired Lou’s to replace our kitchen floor. It was a tough job to work around our existing waterfall island ( and to fix all of the previous contractors mistakes) but they did an amazing job. The communication with Josh was excellent, the crew was professional and the work was completed as scheduled. They really took care of every detail and made sure we were completely happy with the work. My experience with them was positive from start to finish, I would definitely recommend working with Lou’s flooring!

We found Lou's Floor & General Contracting store in the local market. Got the Bathroom Re-done first and liked the work that was done. Josh was very Friendly & helpful and the work was completed well before time and done well. A Month later when we were moving out of town we gave Josh the keys to get the house painted, and the flooring, and carpeting to be re done. Josh went out of his way to help and coordinate with suggestions and photographs throughout the entire job. Everything and much more was done to perfection right from choosing the colors for the walls, and the laminate for the floor and carpets for the bedrooms to the finish, and repairing & cleaning up after that. We are grateful to Josh for his help and will not hesitate to recommend or use his service again sometime soon. Thanks

We’ve done many construction projects with several contractors. With Lou’s we started a total floor refinishing and indoor painting during the pandemic. Gave our contractor,Josh, the key and moved into a hotel. Came back about 3 weeks later to a perfect job. Lou’s uses real professionals and does a great job at a very competitive price

I was executor for a friend of mine who had a condo in need of freshening up and some flooring repair prior to listing it for sale. Josh was so attentive and helpful...I live out of the area but Josh was my eyes and ears on site. He gave me options for flooring repair/replacement; carpeting suggestions and was immediately reponsive to any questions I had. He coordinated the repair/replacement and refinishing of oak flooring, installed carpeting, coordinated painting of all rooms, organized electrician to update outlets / plates to uniform color and install up to code smoke and CO detectors throughout the unit. I never had to chase him down as he was always a step ahead and regularly calling or texting me with updates on the progress since I couldn't be there myself. He went above and beyond and truly cared that we were getting good quality materials yet at a reasonable price, knowing that we were simply trying to get it ready for resale. It has been a long time since I have received one-stop service like this - I highly recommend Josh and Lou's Floor - you won't regret it.

Lou’s Floor Coverings Review of kitchen remodel and installation of new floor coverings. Lou Roupoli is the best contractor I have ever worked with. He met all of his commitments and actually finished early. He was able to put new flooring throughout my 1200 sf home and do a complete kitchen remodel in a little over 3 weeks. Bonus for me is that it was completed just before our COVID-19 stay at home orders so I have been able to revel in my new beautiful kitchen and new floors while isolated! I keep telling my friends (appropriately social distanced, of course) how much I love my new kitchen, giving them tours via facetime and zoom. They are appropriately impressed. Lou’s subs were really good at what they do and wonderful to work with. Lou was on site every day to check progress. His communications with me were timely so I always knew what was going on and he was always available for questions. He was able to make changes to the plans as we progressed and agreed to new layouts. Materials and work done has been of the highest quality and on budget.

Josh and the company were great in helping us to install new tile flooring and carpet after a major construction project in our home. Josh always came on-site to insure the projects were where they needed to be. The installations were fast and precise. The entire staff from top to bottom made us feel welcomed in their store. There were a variety of choices and excellent prices. We are so proud to support such a wonderful local business!!

Lou's installed hardwood flooring in my master bedroom. I am so happy I did this. Luis was great from the initial meeting to the final inspection. Took time matching the existing floors, on time, courteous, attentive, returned calls promptly, came everyday to check progress-everything you hope your contractor will be! The installers were great too, careful of my home, made sure my dogs were safe in the backyard, moved the furniture out and then back in with no damage anywhere. They will be my first and only call for future flooring needs!!

Lou's flooring, and Josh specifically, helped us re-carpet 5 bedrooms in our new home. Josh did an in home consultation to determine the amount of carpet needed, and was clearly knowledgable about flooring and overall home remodeling. We had extremely bad creaks in our sub-floors. Josh was honest they couldn't 100% resolve it, but in the end we got to 90% resolved, which we were very happy with. We also had large dips from the tile hallways to the cement sub-floor in each of the rooms, these were also resolved greatly, so we have less of a strange ramp effect. My only feedback was that less expensive carpet options aren't on prominent display in their shop. We had seen DreamWeaver (which was started by the same original owner as Mohawk) at another shop, and it was about $3K less than comparable carpets from Mohawk or Shaw. Lou's still had it available, and was able to price match, but if we hadn't shopped around a bit, we may have ended up paying a lot more. Overall, we still wanted to make sure we went with Lou's for installation sake. We we were much more confident in their expertise and Josh's oversight, and in the end the install was flawless. We have a square grid patterned carpet, which was installed evenly and straight across enormous rooms. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lou's flooring or use them again.
