We visited the Harborgate Way store near Torrance and Gardena. We are remodeling our kitchen and were looking for vinyl/laminate to place throughout the house. Joe was extremely helpful, patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and we walked away with a feeling we were treated very honestly, as well as having a much better understanding of how flooring works.

Response from the owner

Hi Troy! We look forward to sharing more exceptional experiences with you in the future. Thanks for choosing LL Flooring!

I'm updating my previous 2 star review. Quick recap: About a year ago I asked llflooring to install about 600 sqft of hardwood flooring. The flooring acclimated for two weeks and ather tyeb did the install which replaced carpet. They recommend glue down which i agreed to. Some of the wood was damaged and the install team installed it anyways. After initially contacting ather and the local llflooring store and being ignored, I submitted my complaint to corporate llflooring. I was contacted on and off for about a year and recently a member of install- customer-relations contacted me and said my complaint was valid, and that the wood was suspect and the whole project would be torn up and redone, no cost to me, and this is the only solution in which llflooring will continue to honor my 100 yr warranty for the wood. I am, at the same time impressed and stressed, because they are backing their product and services, but this whole affair will be incredibly disruptive. Well, after receiving all products, waiting minimum 2 weeks for acclimation and moving all my stuff into other spaces in the house, the installers (ather tyeb again) did the demo and reinstallion. Demo and install took two weeks in which I couldn't go in to work. The subfloor was damaged by demo (due to glue down) so the installers placed 3/8 inch osb board over top the damaged sub floor. This caused the transition from the reinstalled area to the master br to be uneven (master br was not part of the reinstall). The installers did not address the damage to the sub floor on the stairs. They said it would be fine. The floor install looks pretty good, the wood quality is very nice, but the stairs required 200+ face nails because they did not address the damaged subfloor. The install left my baseboards in bad condition. These were not replaced. The walls were marked up, smudges, dirty hand prints, pencil marks, gouges in dry wall. Also, they left quite a bit of residual glue on the surface of the floor. The walls and baseboards had been professionally painted before the install. Due to this damage and the glue on the floor, I asked llflooring for small financial compensation to cover material costs of repair. They graciously agreed, but this did not cover the numerous hours it took me to repair the baseboard and walls. I'm updating my review to 3 stars because llflooring did right by me and they stand behind the quality of their product. However, I'm not impressed with ather tyeb, one of the regional installers partnering with llflooring.

Bought about 1,000 sqft of luxury Vinyl end of last year. The prices made the big box stores look like a major rip off. Also the quality of the flooring is very noteable. The padding is thick and feels like it waa hold up for many many years. Excited to have it all installed, only have the kitchen left to lay it down in.

If you need to get flooring make sure to see Benjamin at the Torrance store. He really is knowledgeable. He went over the type of woods, core, finishes, durability, etc. I have a short memory so he ended up going over everything twice. Benjamin knows his stuff and is very kind and patient. Aside from the quality flooring you get quality customer service. Thanks Benjamin

This Lumber Liquidators is great! The Assistant Manager, Barea, provided excellent customer service! She acknowledged customers as soon as they walked into the store. She was very patient, and helped me to stay within my budget. She was knowledgeable about materials and installation. I would recommend Lumber Liquidators as they have something for every budget and many different options to choose from. Also, they offer competitive pricing.
