Poor workmanship and does not honor the agreement, nor easily respond to communication, nor return to correct his poor workmanship done in our home. He had a lot of good things to say when he came to bid the job, but when his crew came to do the work, they lacked ability, and deferred everything to the owner, who feigns ignorance of having said what he said or placed in a text message commitment. The contract he provided was very ambiguous. I had to drag additional details out of him by text message, and I know from experience that contractors who insist on texting end up being trouble, but he has a good shtick. I think he knows what he is talking about, but he cannot personnally do the work and his crew as mentioned lacks the ability. And he can't climb up there to see what they are doing, or not doing. Jim and Jon's crew replaced all of our ductwork as well as the copper lineset between the air handler and the condensor. The copper pipe sweatwork was sloppy, as was the hurrcane shield placement. The ductwork was not sealed in many places, many gaps were half inch or more, and I have been going over everything they did to seal gaps or reseal work they did that has separated. I have reported this contractor to the State of Florida DPBR and there is an investigation ongoing into this matter. If I were older and unable to crawl around in the attic, I would not have learned the extent of their malpractice. JIm and Jon have had more than four months to return and redo their poor work, and twice said they would via text message. But they do not do so. After the latest batch of slop work I have discovered, I doubt that they know how to do this work in practice.

Excellent service and very friendly. Extremely efficient and explained what they were doing to the unit. They installed a Reme Halo unit which is to kill potential mold. Major difference in air quality. Very happy and highly recommend. It is hard to find trustworthy services and this is one of them. Great experience!

Our AC stopped working last night (Friday). This morning (Sat) we called the company we have a maintenance contract with at about 830 am, and have yet to hear from them (now 10 PM)! So much for the 24/7 emergency call service they supposedly offer. After a short time, we googled other companies and came across Jim and Jon. They returned our call within 15 mins and by about 1 pm they had come out, replaced the necessary parts and left. There was no service call fee, no Saturday and/or emergency call fee. We will be switching our maintenance to Jim and Jon and supporting a business who cares about customer service!
