They gave us a 30 minute window for the following morning (unlike Del Air's "sometime tomorrow after 12pm") and showed up promptly within the time window. He had us up and running in about 15 minutes (bad capacitor). Price was reasonable (I did some research to make sure). Afterwards, he also had his office check to see if the unit was still under warranty. Fast, professional and courteous. Only reason for 4 versus 5 stars was that the service call was charged on top of the repair (which some other companies do).
2019 Update (The above was from 2018) - continued excellent service and honesty. The tech (Wilson) thoroughly explained what he did, what the information meant etc. When providing solutions to one problem I had (too long to explain), he provided me alternatives with pros and cons and no attempt to bias and upsell one approach. He stated this was part of the Ken Hope Philosophy (not quite those words). Considered four stars only because we originally booked the day before and they had to reschedule us today, but they were prompt in rebooking and arriving.
2024 update. Once again, phenomenal service and proved yet again that, unlike many of their competitors, they do not just recommend a new air conditioner (something which happens way too often in Florida, especially in the summer). Don was thorough and methodical, explained exactly what happened and what was needed. Repairs came in under what I expected.

Well folks you don’t have to look any further for an honest Air Conditioner repair shop than Ken Hope A/C. The prior reviews tell it all. These good people are honest professionals that are precise and old-school knowledgable. I had 2 other well known Air Conditioner repair conglomerates come out and check the issue with my unit and was told and quoted 2 different issues and 2 different prices that were thousand of dollars apart was the cause of my system breaking down. I knew then I had to get a third opinion. After looking at reviews on the Next Door app that had Ken Hope AC highly rated I decided to give them a shot. From the nice woman who answered their phone at their office who when I initially called, instead of trying to just take my information to make an appointment, asked me what was going on with my system and walked me through doing checks to insure it wasn’t something that just required an adjustment. Now COME ON! Who does that? Ken Hope Air that’s who! The tech that came out was a Cool Old School Country dude named Don (ya gotta love that Name) who diagnosed my system’s issue with the precision of a Harvard schooled surgeon. Don diagnosed it as just needing a particular valve and an adjustment to the speed of the motor’s speed and now my system is running as smooth and consistent as it’s ever been. Ken Hope AC, a combination of knowledge, expertise, and honesty. Call them 1st!!!

I just wanted to start off by saying I'm tough on some of the companies that I reviewed in the past, but when you're good or great I'm going to let people know. This last Tuesday August 16th I had the privilege of having a great local company come and install my new HVAC 3.5 ton 15 seer. The crew arrived on time at 9a and was off property by 345p with my new AC running like a champ. It does however start with the owner/management I spoke to Mr. Hope multiple time and shook his hand and made a deal in person. This is a high quality, knowledgeable and personable company. I can't brag enough on him and the staff but if you need a new AC unit at a great price and quality installation Ken Hope AC is your place. Stay with a smaller company forget big AC installation companies. Thank you to Ken Hope AC and the awesome people who work there.

We began using Ken Hope 20 years ago because his label was on the unit of the new house we bought. Since then we call every year in February for annual check. Today our tech came and gave us a clean Bill of health. Never trying to upsell unnecessary service or parts. Several years ago our system broke down just months away from 10 year warranty expiring. Instead of pressuring us to buy a new AC they repaired under warranty saving us thousands. Fair. Honest. Excellent service. And COVID safe. Tech was masked and distanced.

Hello everyone, all my experiences with Ken Hope technicians have been very pleasant.
They are very professional, and courteous when it comes to fixing and maintaining AC’s.
Today was the fifth time they came to my home (3 repairs) and they solely focused on working on my AC without trying to persuade me to purchase a new system. They came to my home only a few hours after my call and diagnosed/fixed the problem in about and hour.

Ken Hope were the original installers of my two AC unit over 10 years ago, and they have been maintaining them ever since. In all that time, I have never had anything but good experience with them. It was a recent event though that prompted me to write this review. So, after 10 years, one of my valves finally fails and releases all my freon, my AC stopped, and the house warmed up real quick. I called Ken Hope on a Friday afternoon, and while they tried to get a tech over that night, they showed up first thing the next morning. The tech was very thorough and professional, explaining what he was doing and why, and he quickly got to the root of the problem. Ken Hope also worked with me and gave me a great deal on the cost of the repair as well. They have yet to let me down, which is why they will be the only company to service my ACs for as long as I own this house. Great job, guys!!!
